The food is pricey and just ok. I ordered a gf pizza with mushrooms, red onion and sausage. The crust was crispy, not paper thin, but not much flavor. I asked for extra sauce on the side which helped. They only offered 1 size for gf, which was too large for 1 person. Each additional topping was almost $3, so just for my pizza it was almost $20. The rest of my family shared 2 deep dish pizzas which they said was just ok. The service was good-our server was nice and friendly. No reaction from eating here, but won't go again.

They had an amazing gluten free crust. My dad loved it, and he doesn’t eat gluten free unless he is with me! Also had a flourless chocolate cake that was phenomenal. Highly recommend this place! Had 3 GF alcoholic drinks on their menu as well.

Best gluten free pizza crust I've ever had. It's actually crunchy and crispy instead of floppy and chewy. When I explained my gluten allergy the waitress said she'd label my order and they'd use separate pans and utensils and everything. Delicious! I definitely recommend the wings as well. Crust has egg and is not vegan if that is important to you.

Great pizza!!! Staff was very knowledgeable about what was gluten-free on the menu. They even brought my pizza separately before bringing out the regular pizza to help reduce risk of cross contact. The only toppings that aren’t gluten free are the white sauce and meatballs. Everything else is safe! I got The Hill pizza and it was delicious!

AMAZING!!! I’m celiac & have a dairy allergy, they were amazing at accommodating my needs and ensuring I did not get sick! I got a GF pizza with daiya cheese (I was SO happy to know they had this dairy free cheese here) with a ton of veggies on top. One of the best GF pizzas I have had! Also- the mojitos are delish. Will definitely be back next time I’m in STL!

Excellent crust and toppings (we had the Bucktown). Only comes in 12 inch, but that was more than enough for my wife and me. We also liked the blazed veggies for an appetizer, which might explain why a small pizza was sufficient for two. Omission beer was only GF brew, but it was a good match. Waitress didn't bat an eye when I said GF. GF items marked on menu and specialty pizzas are included.

Pizza was pretty good and I didn’t get sick! Definitely the best GF crust I’ve had at a restaurant, especially when it first came out of the oven. Plus the GF is slightly bigger than most places so it’s not a tiny personal pizza, it’s just the same size as their regular small.

I paid to come here, when I had a voucher for Sweetfire Grill (across the street, highly rated). I ate at Pi a couple of years back, when I was in town for work, and I remembered it being really good. They have a handmade gluten free crust that is similar to a medium thickness wheat crust, with crispy edges. This isn’t a Meat Lovers or Supreme kind of place. Most of the pizzas are more upscale/artisanal, and a small (the only size for GF crust) is in the $16-20 range for most of their specialty combinations. However, that is plenty for two people. I was really hungry, so I ate fast. I’m a big guy, and I regretted finishing it off. I managed it, but I should have taken 2-3 pieces with me. The pizza was fantastic, and as soon as I ordered it, the bartender directed me to the GF beer and cider section of the drink menu, and she said most of their mixed drinks were or could be made GF. My son is celiac, and I have severe wheat allergies. I had no problems, either visit, and I don’t believe my son would, either.

Staff was well educated on celiac. I mentioned it at the outset and the server waved off any explanation with a smile and was just like- 'we got you , we'll have all the items you order marked and we'll be very careful''. It was so nice to have service be so knowledgeable and used to the protocol. I had one of the specialty pizzas on the gluten free crust and it was delicious!!!! Their crust was buttery and crisp. I tried the gluten free cookie sandwich for dessert. Too sweet for me but it was nice to have the option!

Ok - LOVED the pizza I got - the GF crust was great and not all crumbly... I think it was called something Central West End? There were issues with the service though - I asked for a sample of a cider on tap and I was given an entire beer... Asked if it was cider before taking a sip was very disappointed it wasn't (knowing I'd have to also deal with getting sick now). The waitress seemed new, but still... I told her I had to be gluten free BEFORE she brought me the cider too. Staff should be more knowledgeable for sure. I still think the pizza was awesome and I imagine would have had a better experience with a different server (she was also forgetful and things took a while after being asked for them). I would just be VERY clear with your server and double check things, even though it feels annoying to do so. They also had some tasty GF desserts!

Very pleased with this restaurant. We had an order of regular pizza and gluten free and was impressed when a different person other than our server brought out the gluten free pizza (I hate when my food is brought out touching gluten food!). And to top it all off, this was one of the best gluten free pizzas I've had in a very long time!

The overall experience was awful! However, the food was AMAZING. We arrived at 3:45PM on a Sunday (location on Washington) and the place had 3 tables sat. We sat at the tall tops by the bar and were served water upon arrival. Our server did not greet us for 20 minutes and only after I asked the host if we had one assigned to us- she asked us to be patient since there was only 1 server on right now! We ordered our food and I asked if the GF pizza is made in 9". I received a snarky remark that "All GF are made in 12" only ALL the time" FYI-I'm from CA and have never visited any of the Pi locations. As we sat there another 20 minutes, 4 more tables were sat. We received our food 45 minutes after first entering! Like I said, FOOD was Delicious! We finished eating within 20 minutes (we are now at 1 hour and 5 minutes). Another drink was offered to my husband upon receiving the food....he didn't receive until we had finished and were waiting for the server to drop our check or offer us a box for remaining pizza. Our sever never checked on us throughout the entire time there. I forgot to mention. He got my pizza wrong- it had to go back and went it came out, the hostess dropped it and apologized- not our server! All 7 tables that were there before and came after us have all been closed out and were departing! We are the only ones left besides a table having drinks next to us! My husband requested the check, server told us to give him a minute as he chatted with last table to leave. We waited another 10 and I got my wallet out and left the credit card on the table. He came by 10 minutes after to ask if we needed a box?! I gave him my credit card and told him to run it so we could leave...that's right! We are now able to leave this place after a record 1 hour and 25 minutes! Last people out, $70 later, and totally ignored by our server! Thanks, Pi Pizza! Service totally ruined this experience for us....hope you get it right with your next customers!

Outstanding GF Pizza experience. Had to ask where crust came from. Was told USA/ Rich's Crust from Buffalo NY. Creative ingredient combos. We had prosciutto /goat cheese/red onion/arugula and it rocked. Also had delightful GF Wings with an unbelievable cucumber yogurt sauce. I'm from Chicago, but this Pizza experience was tops!

We ordered online for delivery- the already expensive food was more expensive because we needed it delivered. However, it was quite good. The gluten free pizza was even pretty decent cold the next day. My food was marked gluten free and vegan.
