LOVE this place! The staff is always incredible and fully knowledgeable on gluten free. I am severely Celiac and have never had an issue here even when eating the gluten free pizza (which you would think at least had some cross contamination. Guess not! My pizza dreams live on!) The GF pasta is the best I’ve ever had. They must be doing witchcraft back there ;) They have a GF bread basket option as well, and I highly recommend the Italian Pinto Grigio- super unique for a pinto grig- , and the pistachio gelato. But you really can’t go wrong.

They have gf bread, pasta, and pizza. For the pizza they made sure to prep and cook the pizza on a safe surface. Delicious food and an institution - it’s been there for over 40 years

My extremely sensitive celiac daughter has never had a problem here. She has ordered the pizza and the Gf pasta. And they will actually bring a bowl of GF bread which is a huge treat! My husband loves the risotto. I would love this restaurant even if it wasn’t so GF friendly.

Always a hit for my daughter who is Celiac. She had the risotto this time. They have a dedicated part of kitchen to prepare gluten free food. I highly recommend.

GF marked menu, cozy seating, and decent food. I ordered a pizza and never felt sick. They also have a solid cocktail menu. The pizza overall was decent but not something I’d rush back for. If the prices were lower, maybe. Either way safe place to eat with quite a few options.

Menu is clearly marked and server was very knowledgeable about what items could and could not be made gluten free. Everything we got was delicious! They even have gluten free bread for the table for a small fee. That's not something I've seen at any other Italian restaurants I've been to.

I worry about cross-contamination where the pizza dough is made

Gluten free pizza crust is good, gluten-free pasta is rice-based and OK.

Very nice staff and good menu. Just ask a lot of questions of your server!

In the past year, I've eaten at this Italian restaurant twice and not been glutened. The restaurant and staff are very good with GF issues. They have GF pizza that's baked in a separate oven. It's the best GF pizza I've had anywhere, including North Beach in SF. They have sliced and toasted GF baguettes to dip in olive oil or pesto. Those are nice to have when eating Italian and watching non-GF people go at it with gluten bread. I've also had their risotto, soups, and salads with no problems. They informed me that they have GF pasta, but I haven't tried it. GF deserts are limited, basically gelato or sorbet. The food is not 5-star, in my opinion, but it's a nice place with great service and good wines. I've been very happy both times I've been.

We are regulars. The food is fantastic and there are several good GF options from salad to pasta to pizza to entrees. They serve GF bread (Mariposa, I think.). Always welcoming and friendly. Eat in or carry out.

They have a small gf menu. Ordered the penne bolognese dairy free and the gf baguette (no pesto to dip the bread in since it has cheese but I did have olive oil). Penne tasted fresh and sauce was very good. Also had the mixed berry sorbet-- it was okay. Wish there were more gf and dairy free options but since the pasta was delicious I would come back. If you're not dairy free, they have gf pizza which sounded good.

Go! No question. Gluten free bageuttes and rolls from Mariposa, meaning gluten free burgers! And they have gluten free pizza and pasta. So good.
