Sandwiches were excellent, tots are fried in a dedicated fryer, and local soda. But the best part was the employees, everyone seemed to genuinely love their job and were passionate about the sandwiches. Ate here twice during the solar eclipse weekend and it was great both times and I did not have any reaction. Definitely put this place on your must try list!

It's a sandwich place that is well-versed on Celiac. I've eaten here three times and not had a problem at all. They have an excellent Reuben; something that doesn't come along very often for Celiacs and is a treat when it does.

Walked in and asked about gluten-free products and what they did to prepare things safely, and after telling me that they clean their surfaces, keep things separate, and change their gloves, the cashier asked me if I had celiac disease without me having to tell him or explain what it meant. Sandwich was delicious too.👍

The server had thorough knowledge of gluten issues and recommended some good sandwiches. Also, the tater tots are fried in a gluten free fryer. I had a yummy sandwich, a few of my wife's tots, and no ill effects.

Great sandwich place. The owner, Ray, helped me order a GF sandwich that was also dairy free. They baked mine instead of grilling it and it was delicious. Best part of the meal though was the tater tots - they make them in a dedicated fryer and they’re Awesome!!

We were kindly greeted by Ray and asked if it was our first time there. It was. He went over our gluten free options. We both had a Reuben sandwich on gf bread. Tater tots fried in gf fryer and gf chocolate chip cookie. Everything was perfect, delicious and only thought about them because of this app I’m using to write all this in. I wasn’t crazy about the atmosphere— as there were too many tables in the room and not enough elbow room at the table. I couldn’t see me bringing a client there but as a take out — it would be perfect for me.

Grateful for the kindness of the staff, the food, and leaving with the feeling that I won’t have to suffer the consequence of eating food that is bad for me.

I’ll be back.

Tremendous lunch with Great sandwiches. They Took extra care with gloves and baking because I am celiac. Served with tutor tots from a dedicated fryer. The huge dill pickle was great too!

I was in the area for the day and I was so hungry. Went here not expecting anything great, but I was wrong. Staff was so helpful and friendly, and the food was GREAT! I have a bad gluten sensitivity so they changed their gloves and everything for me. Will definitely go back when I’m in town again!

I have Celiac Disease, so of course I was initially hesitant to try a place that is new to me; they immediately put me at ease by describing their process to avoid cross contamination by changing gloves and utilizing a dedicated work space. Very good absolutely go again !!!

The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly . We went to Erie for a weekend trip and ate there twice ! My daughter has celiac and got the Mona Lisa sandwich. The gluten free bread was very good and it was a big sandwich. I definitely recommend going there if you have celiac and are in the Erie area .

I have celiac disease and I'm highly sensitive to cross contamination. I ate here a bunch back in 2014, moved back to the area and the Mona Lisa on GF is still just as good as ever and no cross contamination issues. Now if they could manage to make their mac and cheese GF I would be in heaven!

Saw the sandwich maker drag the serving spoon over regular bread cross contaminating the food containers. Guy behind register did not care at all. If you have Celiac, take your chances with this place.

Great lunch today. All workers were knowledgeable of Celiac, and what was/wasn't GF. Bread was very soft and fresh. Great place for quick sandwich! I will pay $2 every time for good, fresh bread.

I wouldn't recommend this place for dinner. We made that mistake and we were still hungry after we left. The girls working didn't suggest getting a combo which would have included a drink and chips. My first sandwich was not to my liking and when I mentioned it was too salty I was charged for another sandwich. The meatballs on the second sandwich were old and luckily the manager refunded me for both sandwiches. Not filling, staff not very friendly, manager seemed nice but it was too late.

Excellent sandwiches. Wife and I had the Mona Lisa. Wish they had kids gluten-free mac and cheese for our son, but he ate the gf cheese sandwich and decided to just eat the cheese. He probably would have eaten the bread too, if it had been grilled longer. Will definitely come back when in town again.

Sandwich was delicious! The selection is crazy and odd but unique and delicious at the same time. Staff was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly but as previous users have pointed out there is a $2 up charge for gf bread (the only reason for the 4 star rating).

Good gluten free sandwich. Had a Mona Lisa on gluten free bread. Changed gloves and used foil in the oven. 4 stars simply for the $2 charge for gluten free bread and also charging for a large sandwich even though the gluten free bread is much smaller.

This is a great place! When you tell hem that your sandwich is gluten free all the workers change their gloves and get clean knives. They also wrap your sandwich in foil to make sure nothing touches it while its warming in the oven. I am very sensitive to gluten and I have never had any problems eating here! It's nice to know that you can go somewhere and order a sandwich!!! I highly recommend Picasso's!!!
