Had an awesome time at Piccolo Sogno last night for a work trip.
I didn't ask specifically about cross-contact procedures since I'd done so much research ahead of time. However, they asked at the beginning of our meal if we had any food restrictions, explained the GF/GFA indicators, and repeated "gluten-free" when setting down my allergy orders.
We had the prosciutto, burratta, and caprese appetizers. I got the Halibut for my main course, the mushrooms/peas and sauce were amazing. 3 bottles of wine for the table as well. I don't believe any of the desserts were listed as gf. Nearly everything on the dinner menu could be gf. I am pretty asymptomatic, but nothing made me anxious/no mysterious side effects afterwards.
Service was great all around, very nice staff, welcoming and talkative, able to answer questions, etc.

A lot of GF options clearly marked on the menu. Waiter was super knowledgeable and clear about dishes that were GF and the specific changes made to dishes to make it GF optional. Really delicious and great atmosphere.

GF clearly marked on the menu and as soon as we sat down, our server asked if there were any allergies. Very knowledgeable about celiac. Got the Burrata and risotto special and had no issues!

Got served gluten pasta, glad I was able to tell and get it sent back. When they brought it back the noodles were so undercooked and hard from rushing it back out that I unfortunately had to send it back again. By the time I got my dish everyone was done eating. The food was good but don’t think it was worth it.

Lots of great options that were either regularly GF or had a GF option available. We were there on a busy night so I kept myself to the GF options. I had prosciutto and melon, cáptese salad, polleto, and the chocolate cake. All delicious and no reaction!

Great gluten free options! Staff is knowledgeable and chef is passionate about being accommodating and safe to allergies. I’m very sensitive to cross contamination and I felt great after eating here. Can’t wait to go back!

The server and manager were very knowledgeable & reassuring about the severity of gluten allergies. Food was incredible. But I got extremely extremely ill after eating here. I have celiac, but am not incredibly sensitive. I think there must have been a mix up I don’t remember the last time I was that sick. Although food was amazing, I don’t think I’ll be able to go back.
