All sauces (except alfredo) and toppings are gluten free! Servers changed their gloves, used separate cooking tray, cutting board and utensils, and washed their hands before handling my pizza. And it was delicious....so many choices!

When you ask for GF crust, they'll ask if you need it for an allergy or preference. I said allergy, so they changed their gloves (they got gloves out of a drawer, not from the box on the wall) got clean, dedicated dishes from the back, and let their coworkers know that mine was GF allergy. They have dedicated pizza cutters and cutting boards, and they put the GF pizza in a box, not on their dine-in trays that have regular pizza in them. In short, Pie Five in Zionsville and Indy are both careful to avoid CC, though they don't have a separate oven, I've never gotten sick, the pizza is delicious, and I feel really comfortable eating there.

They do NOT prevent cross contamination as theyre same gloved hand that touches the dough goes into all the seperate ingredients, leaving gluten behind even if they switch gloves for a gluten free crust. There was also gluten dough all over the counter. I left without attempting because I already had gluten on my hands just from touching their menu.

I really wanted to eat here, when I went up to order I asked if the Gf ingredients all came out if the back, and I was told they came out if the same containers used for ALL the pizzas.. So, they looked delicious and the rest of my days and it was, but unless you are GF by choice, don't eat here, or you WILL be sick. So sad.

Disgusting! Ordered a Margarita GF. They didn't bother putting the basil on it, which is a key ingredient of a Margarita pizza. Good thing my family was hungry & they all said their regular pizzas were OK. I must commend them on the changing of gloves, separate pans, cutter, & putting it straight in a box to avoid cross contamination.

Not bad. So-so GF crust, some weirdly institutional-looking ingredients (is that really fresh sausage?), and long wait times if there are more than 2-3 people in line. Impressed with the kitchen protocols, though; appreciate the visible effort without the typical eye-rolling and sighs that many Celiacs have to put up with. The end product is good....not great, but still nice and fresh and satisfying.

They are so Awesome! They let us bring our own dairy free cheese to use and they even take the pizza to the back to use the fresh ingredients that haven't been gluten or dairy contaminated. They change gloves and use clean cutters for the pizzas. They honestly take even precaution against cross contamination that I could imagine. I can't rave enough about the delicious pizza and the amazing customer service. This is our new favorite restaurant for gluten and dairy sensitive.

This is the best out of the 3 I've tried in the KC metro area. Everything is a different setup for gf pizzas, except the sauce, but they use a separate spreader to spread it on the crust. The price is reasonable for a gf pizza, cheaper than anywhere else I've been. As a family of 3, we can all get our own pizzas the way we like, for just over $20.

NOT for celiac or allergic people. The topping containers have no spoons so the employees touch the pizzas then reach with their hands in the containers. Also the sauce has a ladle which is used both on regular pizzas and gluten-free pizzas, so the sauce is obviously contaminated. So different from blaze pizza where everything was made sure to be not contaminated and gluten free from separate sauce to having spoons in each topic container. two different cutters different surfaces everything. Compared to that, Pie Five a joke

Customers can choose yummy signature pizzas or create their own pizzas on any gluten free crust (and salads) working with staff well trained to avoid gluten contamination-changing gloves, walking the gluten free pizza down the line, boxing food, & using dedicated tools. All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure that all of my gluten free needs were met! As soon as I said that I was gluten free, their gloves came off and sealed gluten free crust came out- I felt safe eating there, which rarely happens as everyone with gluten problems knows. Although the pizza toppings are served "bar" style, I felt safe eating here because there is one person who touches the pizza crust normally, while the others put the toppings on, so I didn't feel the actual bar items were contaminated. The person who did mine walked my pizza down the entire line to avoid contamination. Overall, Pie Five was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a very very long time!!! I would recommend it to anyone, gluten free or not!!!
