I saw no cross contamination when I watched them make my gf pizza. Changed gloves, different spoons and spatulas, different side of the oven for gf, separate cutting board slicing stations for gf. Quick and yummy gluten free ZA!

Going here is being "wild" in my book. Tastes good, and they switch gloves when you say gluten free then they use the same ladle for sauce to put sauce on your pizza that spreads sauce that touched gluten.

Love this place. only one problem. While they use a different spreader for sauce they use the same sauce and scoop they use with non - gf pizzas creating a cross contamination possibility.

EXCELLENT! Menu easy to follow to quickly pick out a Pizza Pie. GF pizza was excellent. The ingredients were fresh. The wait time was minimal. Quick service. Employees friendly and knowledgeable about what was GF in pizzas and salads. Definitely changed out gloves and dough was pre wrapped and it appeared that the pizza pans were different for GF. Restaurant was kept very clean - tables, floors, around the fountain bar. Bathroom was very clean. Love the sink, automatic soap, water and a dryer all in one. I want one of these. Keep up the great service, great food, great restaurant!

Fabulous experience! My GF daughter was thrilled at the choices and I was thrilled with the immediacy of glove/utensil changing. I appreciate the care that was taken in keeping the GF separate. And it was delicious!! The only part that we didn't like is that we are from St. Louis and we don't have a Pie Five. :( Again, a wonderful experience. Will be back every time we visit KC area!

I was really impressed when I watched the staff change their gloves and utensils when preparing my pizza (which was delicious)! They even put my pizza in a to-go box rather than a plate to minimize the chances of cross contamination. Overall I was really happy and will definitely go back!

The staff was incredibly knowledgable, and took very appropriate measures to ensure no cross contamination. When the employee took the pizza off at the end of cooking, he accidentally placed the pizza near the common cutting area, and he was immediately corrected by his supervisor...not only did they remake the pizza (without asking!!) but then gave us the pizza for free! Very good gf crust...delicious! We will definitely be going back.

They do not have a dedicated gf menu but their website and in house employees know what is gf and what isn't. They have a gf crust that is one of the best I have had. They use different utensils when ordering gf. My husband (non-celiac) ordered a regular pizza and they changed their gloves and washed their hands before making mine. The pizzas go through the same oven but they have dedicated gf trays. There is a separate section with separate utensils for cutting gf pizzas. They put it in a to go box since there is no dedicated gf trays to eat off of. I will definitely be coming back.

This place is awesome. They have trained staff. I asked for their gluten free crust and the employee immediately changed gloves. Separate tools are used and they cut the pizza with separate tools in a different area. Staff even knew that the Italian sausage I asked for had gluten in it, allowing me to avoid it. I will definitely become a regular here. Eaten here twice and haven't gotten sick. Awesome place!

Not celiac friendly! They put on clean gloves to open a gluten free crust but use the same bins to grab toppings from as the person next to them making a regular pizza and possibly even touching ingredients containing MSG. I was sick before I left the parking lot.

While they have gluten free crust, it most certainly IS NOT celiac friendly. There is a lot of room for cross contamination; especially since they have to use the same spatula for the marinara that they spread the sauce on regular crust, place it back in the sauce and then they pour that marinara onto the gluten free crusts. And then the glove issue...even though they change gloves, think about it. they still have to use those other already contaminated gloves to touch the ingredients, and now all the ingredients are contaminated from the flour crust gloves, and are now on your gluten free crusts. Not very celiac friendly. All in all, this is very good pizza.

Celiac Review: while they did try diligently to ensure no CC with my meal, in a location with free floating flour in the air it is next to impossible to be Celiac Friendly. The Manager even got all my toppings from the back. Unfortunately, when I went to grab the lid for my drink the lid holder had flour. Unfortunately I did get sick. But I give them 3 stars because they really did try even though they did inform me that it may not be suitable. So anyone who noted this as Celiac Friendly must not truly be a Celiac. If you are Gluten Intolerant, you may or may not have a reaction. Eat at your own risk.

They wash hands, change gloves, and do great with avoiding cross contamination when transitioning to making a gluten free pizza. I have never had a negative reaction. Join the circle of crust club and earn points from each purchase. These points accumulate and result in you earning a free pizza. The prices are very reasonable! you can watch them make your pizza. It is set up like a subway for pizza. They prepare it in a line before your eyes. super fast and super affordable.

I ate here within the last month. I asked for new ingredients to be used on my pizza instead of the ingredients that were sitting out on the pizza making station. Felt like I had to argue with the manager to open new sauce and toppings. She assured me that the sauce ladle and toppings did not come in contact with the crust. However, that is not what I saw when watching them make the pizzas before mine. They agreed to open new toppings to make my pizza but clearly do not understand cross contamination. I will not eat here again.

Wow!! Absolutely fantastic. Not only was it great gluten free pizza, but they knew how to handle it too. When I asked for the gluten free crust, the girl immediately changed her gloves before getting it out of a separate area where it was individually wrapped. She was then the only person to touch it before it went in the oven, and when it did, she made sure the person getting it out of the oven knew it was there. After finishing with the person in front of me, he took his gloves off, washed his hands, put on new gloves, and got out a separate cutting board and pizza cutter before getting it from the oven, cutting it, and putting it in a box as to eliminate any cross contamination from the trays. The manager gave it to me directly, and said he hoped I enjoyed. They were awesome about answering all of my questions and making sure I had a good, safe, experience! Will definitely be back.

Love this place! They have GF crusts that actually taste good, and are stored individually wrapped until you ask for it. As soon as you tell them "gluten free" they change gloves and utensils and you can watch them make your pizza so you know no one else has touched it. GF pizzas are put in carry out boxes when they come out of the oven, so they never have a chance of touching any other foods. You can order a side salad, but bring your own dressing. The manager checked on their dressings for me and said they are not gluten free.

They gladly got new ingredients from the ball for my daughter's pizza, changed gloves, and used a fresh cutting set! The crust was the best I've had since going gluten free, chewy and flavorful! My only suggestion would be they need a larger rack to put the GF pizza on so that there was no chance of CC. I just had my daughter not eat to the very edges.

I've been here twice. Both times all I said was gluten free and the employees washed hands and changed gloves. They also pull out separate screens to cook the pizza on, and have a dedicated cutter and board that are a different color than the normal cutters. The pizza also goes straight into a box and not to plate. They do use the same ingredient bins that the rest if the pizzas use, and that has touched the gloved hands.

Worker changed gloves without me asking when I ordered gluten free crust. When pizza came out of oven another worker got a clean slate pan and pizza cutter for my pizza, and then put it in a box even though I was dining there in order to prevent cross-contamination. I only have a gluten intolerance, so the containers that had cross-contamination didn't affect me but if you have Celiac it might not be your best bet. I didn't react o this delicious pizza though!

When you ask for GF crust, they'll ask if you need it for an allergy or preference. I said allergy, so they changed their gloves (they got gloves out of a drawer, not from the box on the wall) got clean, dedicated dishes from the back, and let their coworkers know that mine was GF allergy. They have dedicated pizza cutters and cutting boards, and they put the GF pizza in a box, not on their dine-in trays that have regular pizza in them. In short, Pie Five in Zionsville and Indy are both careful to avoid CC, though they don't have a separate oven, I've never gotten sick, the pizza is delicious, and I feel really comfortable eating there.
