Minimal gluten free options on the menu. I have been here several times without getting sick. It really depends on the server you get regarding the knowledge for gluten free and safety options. I have had servers who were spot on and others who had no idea and I asked them to go talk with the chef. I stick with the same thing almost every time. Burger with gluten free bun and coleslaw. They do have a buffalo cauliflower that is gluten free too. The bartenders are k knowledgeable and have asked to see the bottles at time. Very friendly and willing to work with you.

I wasn’t impressed with the gluten free options. The menu didn’t mention GF buns for any of their sandwiches and most of their salads had a gluten containing ingredient even their brussel sprouts are deep fried in the same fryer as everything else. Overall left the restaurant hungry.

Talked to server about gluten free and celiac. Very willing to learn and understood some. When my food came, a large curly macaroni noodle was in it. I mentioned it to him, who then told the manager. Who basically just shrugged at me and said oh well. Was very disappointed.

Newly open in heart of Downers Grove. There is not a gluten free menu, but server was knowledgeable and suggested suitable choices from regular menu. Extra points for server saying that they did not have a dedicated gluten free kitchen and cross contamination was possible, but they followed safe practices. Gluten Free bun is available for burgers and sandwiches. I had a burger on gluten free bun with a Crispen cider (they also have Vander Mill cider). Burger was juicy and cooked as ordered with fresh toppings and a side of cole slaw. There are other GF possibilities including salads and entrees. Full bar with craft cocktails. The place is very popular and wait times can be long; reservations only for 6 or more. I’ll definitely return. (04-17-2019 update: my 2nd visit today was just as good as my 1st).
