We sat on the patio, great view of the ferry boats coming and going.
About half the menu is either GF or can be made GF. I notified the staff I was celiac and they knew what that meant and took me seriously.
I had fish tacos on GF tortillas, with chips and salsa. Very tasty.
It’s a bit pricy but it’s on an island right on the waterfront so that’s expected.

I had a great experience here. The waiter knew exactly what options were safe when asked. He was aware off the bat that there is no dedicated fryer and what cross contamination is. The only thing he needed to double check- which dressings and sauces are safe.
I ended up getting a chicken BLT on a delicious, surprisingly fluffy gluten free bun, served with tortilla chips instead of fries. I had no reaction as someone with Celiac. 10/10.

Great food items marked. Only bummer is no dedicated fryer but they can give you tortilla chips that are gluten free but not “house” made. Enjoyed my dinner!

There are GF options marked on the menu, as well as GF buns available.
Fun place with a great atmosphere. Many items able to be made GF. Felt like they cared about being celiac and took precautions.

Such a cute restaurant! Got a chicken BLT on a gluten free bun which was delicious. They also offer GF tortillas for wraps along with GF bread/buns so I had many options. Mackinac island surprised me with the amount of GF food but this was definitely my favorite from the trip.

We went to the Pink Pony for lunch and ordered gluten free grilled cheeses and tomato soups. The food was good ( especially the soup!) The only disappointing part was our waitress’s attitude. They messed up our order and she didn’t seem to want to bring me what I had ordered until I blatantly told her I would just wait for the correct food to come out rather than eat what she had put in front of me.

GF options marked on the menu and had a few options available. Gluten free buns available upon request. I had the broiled whitefish with vegetables and potatoes. Delicious. My waitress offered me GF dessert items as well but with the portion sizes, I was too full to indulge.

I had a wonderful experience here. Spoke with my waitress right when I sat down about my dietary restrictions and cross contact concerns. She was more than willing to show me items in menu that were safe and talk to chef to confirm my restrictions could be accommodated. My meal was brought out separately and confirmed gluten free upon arrival. I got fish tacos with corn tortillas and did not get sick. I also requested they use a freshly washed pan to cook my food. I have celiac

The server was extremely helpful and was willing to ask the cook questions about items on the menu. I had the Wedge Salad. It was ok. The bacon was bacon bits and I expected more from a high end restaurant like the Pink Pony.

Restaurant was extremely dirty! Disgusting booth walls, seats and menus. We left and did not dine here. We visited on a week day in late September (not a busy time).

I appreciated the many gf options on the menu. You can get a gf bun for burgers but I opted for the surf and turf. Gf ciders available too.

Staff seemed knowledgeable when I ordered a burger with no bun. It came out and tested positive for gluten with my Nima tester. Talked with manager and he suggested I got French onion soup which would be least likely to have contamination - the test for the soup showed no gluten found and was good. Overall staff was accommodating but admitted they can’t prevent contamination. It’s a cute fun place but celiacs use caution.

Other reviews indicated GF options and the restaurant advertises them too; however, the server warned me that the kitchen is small and can’t guarantee no cross-contamination. He advised to have a salad because the prep area is separate. I do appreciate his candor. GF buns and cauliflower crust was available for non-celiacs.

We had an excellent waiter- he was knowledgeable and helpful in ordering. The hamburger was available with a GF bun and it was absolutely delicious! We were able to substitute tortilla chips for fries to avoid cross contact with fryers. Also ordered the whitefish tacos (pan fried with corn tortilla). They had gf cider on tap. Gorgeous outdoor patio. Would definitely return!

Menu had lots of options! Completely recommend the apple and goat cheese salad. Labeled GF and delicious! GF bun for a burger as well!

The staff was very knowledgeable about Gluten. The minute I said I needed it to be HF he wrote it down right on the order slip.

Sat at the bar and bartender was knowledgeable. Ordered a salad with no issues. Octorock hard cider on tap (one of my favorites). Sensitive celiac and no reactions. Update: went back Labor Day weekend 2019 and had the chips and salsa safely.

Maddison, Maddison! What a fabulous waitress, and SO knowledgeable about the menu at Pink Pony! Our daughter ordered the tomato bisque with no croutons, and a turkey sandwich on a gluten free bun, with honey mustard sauce. She loved it! Maddison was so careful to reassure Chloe that her meal prep would be very carefully done. And it was. Thank you to Pink Pony Restaurant and to Maddison. We really appreciate you!

Great GF options, had the tacos and the prime rib, both delicious! Add a salad with the champagne vinaigrette and a glass of the Caymus cab, wonderful. View outside is wonderful! Or service was awesome.
Got the soup and sandwich combo plate, with GF options available for both. Had a slight reaction afterwards, not totally certain why, which is honestly the only thing stopping me from giving this a higher rating, because I enjoyed my soup and sandwich for sure!
They have gluten free buns that taste amazing. The fries are coated in flour so watch out!

I had the Gorgonzola salad with chicken & French onion soup - both were really good.
Manage to have a house salad. Priced $3.00 more than reg house salad. Couldn't figure that one out. Explained to waitress about having allergy and please have kitchen change gloves and be mindful of cross contamination. They were. Salad was like only true safe option.
Ordered the Cherry Chicken Salad Sandwich. The Gluten Free bun was really good and was the selling point.
