I ate at the village pointe location this week and had a very good experience. I ordered the Mia pizza (pepperoni and sausage), the caprese salad, and I tasted the beef short rib. The waitress was diligent in answering my questions.
— Very
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much
— Excellent
The person I talked to on the phone prior to coming out seemed knowledgeable but the staff and the servers were clueless. They said all dressings were GF and then quickly came back and had me change. I was served the wrong dressing and felt really sick after eating my salad. Not safe!!
No
If the pizza (which is small) wasn't $15 I would go back frequently to order their mushroom pizza. It's a shame they charge so much extra for a GF crust
Not safe for celiacs according to server and hostess.
Just tried out Pitch Pizzeria. Got the gluten free crust. It was ok, but I wouldn't do it again in the future. The smallest make-your-own pizza was $11 with the base price. Adding 1 topping of pepperoni was another $3. Pitch charge an additional $5 for gluten free crust... higher than most places charge for gf.
Waitress did say there could be some cross contamination. My husbands order (sandwich) came out long before my pizza did. The flavor of the pizza was mediocre. The gf crust was extremely chewy and gets stuck in your teeth. I've had better gf crust at other places.
No
No gluten free menu and staff not knowledgeable about cross contamination. Fun atmosphere and good food but I don't feel confident about eating there.
Despite their GF pizza crust being baked offsite, their kitchen is not set up to be Celiac-safe. When I called to inquire, the very helpful and honest staff member told me "There is all-purpose flour dust floating all over the kitchen." She did not recommend someone with Celiac eating anything there.
Loved their menu! I had no issues with the pizza--it was absolutely delicious. They have an amazing menu and plenty of gluten free options. They also have gluten-free beer! So tasty.
