Review of Pizza Nono

925 East 900 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84105

Review

Pizza is excellent, maybe the best in Salt Lake, second only to Settebello. Gluten free crust is delicious. Sadly, after watching the preparation, the kids working the oven do not maintain the cross-contamination efforts. The pizzas are prepared separately, and do not touch the area where the regular pizzas are prepped. But the kids use the same paddles to move all the pizzas around inside the oven, and it is certain that the gf pizzas pass over regular pizza spots in the oven. I did not see the special pan mentioned in the other review. So if you have to be totally gf, this is not the place for you. In their defense, they do try, and it’s a lot to ask of a pizza place with one oven. We went ahead and ate it anyway, hoping for the best, but got sick.
