Great gluten free pizza and great friendly service!
Good food. Wonderful owner. Knowledgeable staff. Pizza is yummy.
I worked here and I can say for a fact they don't care about cross-contamination. Guaranteed that if hands are washed shirt still sprinkles flour. Celiacs beware. I''ve witnessed employees here put hands in flour then build pizza laughing that gluten allergies arrnt real. Besides, spend a day in the kitchen you'll never go back. Frying chicken with potatoes. Gloves available aren't used in kitchen. Terrible management team. Same guys that ruined our applebees.
Their so-called "gluten-free- pizza is not so gluten free. My wife, who has clinical Celiac disease, had to go to the ER due to contamination 20 minutes after eating one of their "gluten free" pizzas. Do NOT risk it as they do not handle the food or kitchen properly.
as with many pizza ranch stores, they offer the typical medium GF pizza for about $10 with any toppings. only gave them 4 stars due to being unorganized, and not keeping the buffet stocked very well. otherwise, no problems with the grub!
I have eaten the gluten free pizza here about 3-4 times and every time it is a wonderful experience! I NEVER get sick and the staff always checks in on me and seems knowledgable. They are always VERY friendly and never make me feel like I am being difficult because I have an allergy. They only have one size of pizza right now but I get two meals from it. They make it in a separate tin pan so it doesn't touch anything! Lots of different types of pizza to choose from or custom toppings as well!!
like many of the other pizza ranch restaurants, the yankton location recently added the medium GF pizza to their menu. for those of you who haven't been to PR, it's a buffet. we usually call ahead to order to my wife's GF pizza (any toppings you want), so it's ready when we get there. then she doesn't have to wait while we begin to pig out. only gave it 4 stars because it's not quite as nice, and staff could have been a little more friendly.
I love that this pizza comes on it's own tray. I have ordered here countless times and never had a problem. Some of their flavors were not necessarily to my liking, but I haven't had any issues with being glutened. I have eaten their salad bar once while waiting on my order since I was with others. I also didn't have any issues with that. Though you do have to be ever so careful with buffet style environments, so I have not done that again.
great option for the GF diner. not all pizza ranches have GF pizza, but the ones that do, typically have a medium pizza for $10, any toppings.
Gf crust!! To prevent cross-contamination they open new/fresh ingredient packages for gf pizza orders, cook it on an aluminum disposable pan, and serve to table in a box. Choose specialty pizza from menu - or build your own. I suggest calling ahead 20 minutes or so to order the gf pizza if the rest of your party will be doing the buffet (otherwise they'll be almost done before you even get your pizza!) Enjoy!
Most (if not all) Pizza Ranches now offer gluten-free pizza. You do have to "order" it when you pay for the buffet, but they'll bring it to your table. This location brought mine with a to-go box, so I got to take half the pizza home with me! Decent salad bar; that's what I eat while waiting for my pizza, while the rest of the fam eats regular pizza/chicken buffet.
