Pluto's

I enjoyed a Gluten Free grilled chicken sandwich which was very good. Fries from a dedicated fryer and a hot dog on a gluten free bun. All was very good. When ordering I spoke with who I think was the owner. His son is Celiac and they make a lot of their sauces in house. We will be back to try more

They offer gluten free pitas and buns, but they aren’t concerned about food sensitivities or allergies. They’re offering these to cater to fad dieters. Case in point — On various online ordering portals, they sell gyros with Kronos meat and offer their gluten free pitas but with no warning about there being gluten in the meat. When pressed on this, they admitted that people still order it like this because of “preference”. They also won’t accommodate by subbing out chicken for gyros meat. They’re completely inflexible, and quite honestly they are rude and callous when challenged on it.

I highly doubt that they’re being mindful of cross contamination given this cavalier attitude. They want to ride the gluten free train to the bank, but don’t want to be responsible when it comes to their customer’s safety.

Also, the review from Noula Angelos should be removed, as she is one of the owners of Pluto’s. The fact that she would pose as a customer to give a review of her own business shows that this establishment has questionable ethics.

Best fast food GF restaurant I've found. They offer GF pita's, hamburger buns and ice cream cones- if you ask; and they are experimenting with different hot dog buns- so you have to ask if they have any when you go. They do not advertise it very much, it's the best kept Oak Lawn secret for fast high quality good food!

Celiac friendly?
