No issues with gluten free here in the past…although most recent visit a few days ago, I had a reaction and only ate the Brussels and the Cobb salad. No bueno. Not safe

I ignored the reviews on here saying it wasn’t safe, bad idea. The experience was great and they promised it would be safe to eat there. I got a salad, the short rib, and crème brûlée. I just got home and got instantly sick. Do not eat here if you are celiac.

Tasty food but not gluten free aware, has to send back my drink (espresso martini with graham crackers on the rim). Salad was GF but nothing spectacular. Bacon bits from a back, not fresh chicken or veggies. Fryer is not separate.

Has many gluten-free options, many dishes can be altered to be gluten-free, and staff is very knowledgable.
Made a reservation here because the menu had a lot of GF items listed or ways it could be altered. Upon arriving, found many of the GF items were cross contaminated. Told I’d be safe with a salad. Not the Dining options I was expecting.

They took my allergy seriously and took the proper precautions! They also brought me tortilla chips when they brought bread for my family.

I got so sick here! The waitress assured me the kitchen would take precautions despite what the menu said but this didn’t happen. Avoid this place if you’re celiac!

WTF! I love the vibe here which is warm, cozy, local BUT there is an insincere effort on the gluten free. The great menu has a handful of items marked gluten free or vegan (other than salads). But when you order and ask them to let the chef know you are gluten free then suddenly items marked Gluten Free are no longer safe for you to it. Oh that goes in a commom fryer. Well one ingredient isnt gluten free and it cannot be left off per the chef. It used to be gluten free but the chef apparently changed something and didnt tell anyone which was news to the waitress who told everyone before me it was ok and its marked gluten free on the menu. We can offer you a side salad or some veggie curry. Yeah no we dont have gluten free pasta noodles anymore. Ok I give up and my wine and cup of chicken chili which was simply spicy broth with no chicken or veggies. While I finish my wine the chef comes out annoyed to discuss with the front of house manager what is GF safe, with great emphasis he cites several side salads. Its Northern Michigan in the fall, pass on the side salads dude.

Omg save yourself the trouble and hunger pains. This place is ridiculous. Unless you want to take out a second mortgage, leave hungry and deal with eye rolling snotty waitresses go somewhere else. Myself and my two sons are all celiac. I didn’t eat Bcuz there’s no way I trust this place to not cross contaminate. Waitress told me yea we make everything in the same area so…. My son got a burger no bun Bcuz they have no gf buns or bread. Burger came on a piece of lettuce. Oh boy, yum. No fries Bcuz no dedicated fryer. Other son got tomato soup, said it was ok. Biggest disappointment yet. What a joke.

I had the tomato spinach Swiss soup and it was delicious and GF. They brought me rice wontons in place of the rolls. The menu options were marked on the menu and they had GF bread to use on their sandwiches.
Yes
Was told that pastries are made in house and there is flour dust everywhere. Not good for a true celiac!
No
I was bummed that there were very few options. Upon inquiry, many of the ingredients went into shared fryers. There was even a disclaimer on the menu that stated that GF items were prepared in an area containing gluten. I had a delicious GF cocktail, though, before choosing somewhere else.

Amazing Gluten Free Desserts! Many choices!
not many options, mostly just salads. the grilled salmon on special sounded amazing until the server told us it was a salmon cake, not grilled salmon that was listed.
Not many options, especially for kids
First place in the area I feel comfortable eating. Great selection and knowledgeable servers.
great staff, nice menu with a variety. Cheffs are willing to customize. And the have several gluten-free desserts
