Walked out. Looks like most of menu is gluten free. It’s not. All chips are deep fried. Not much left. Not salad or soup. Forget it

Might work if you’re not celiac, but staff was not willing to accommodate me at all despite having extensive “gluten free” options. Said I could have salad or tortilla soup. Tortilla soup seemed risky because it said it had “crispy tortilla strips,” which presumably would have been fried and a major component of “tortilla” soup. I got the salad and still got glutened.

Hit or miss on staff knowing about GF options and kitchen protocol. The food is ... meh. Chips are not safe.

The staff was very knowledgeable on Celiac. They let me know there was no dedicated frier and I couldn't have the chips as they make them in house. They offered to give me some strips of tortilla as a replacement. They also let me know I couldn't have to churros when my partner ordered them just in case. I had the Al Pastor Tacos and they were great! Menu items has marked if ingredients contain gluten other than that don't get fried foods.

Update: been several times, always safe and yummy!
It was delicious, especially the queso and enchiladas! Closest to Tex Mex I've found in the Seattle area so far. I did not get sick at all! Zero bad symptoms ☺ they brought me corn tortillas to dip in the salsa. Definitely going back!

As a previous reviewer mentioned, they mark items on their menu that contain gluten (very few of those, honestly). Because they do not have a dedicated fryer, our server brought out cucumber slices for our guacamole. A surprisingly tasty substitution. Knowledgeable staff, excellent food and drink. We will be returning for sure.

Staff is extremely knowledgeable on what is GF vs Celiac Safe. There is no dedicated fryer so avoid the chips but the corn tortillas and guacamole make a good substitute and they make a mean margarita! Carne Asada and Carnitas are also tasty.Their menu labels the items that have gluten and also notes that anything in the fryer will have trace amounts. They have a sheet up front at the desk that also lists that info but servers are fully aware as well.

We discovered this restaurant on my gluten-free app, stating it is Celiac friendly. Thank you for being Celiac friendly! It's hard to find places to eat out so I'm very excited to add one of the few on our list. This is a fantastic restaurant, beautiful design inside and out. The food was so tasty and pleasant to look at, we will be back :-) Items with gluten are marked on the menu. Our wait staff shared a wonderful choice for a margarita, a spicy passion fruit margarita it was delicious! Thank you for a great 'first time since Covid hit' experience.
