Porchlight

Dedicated fryer and really good bar food. Had the spicy fried chicken, fried oysters, loaded nachos (the queso is not gluten free but the staff was super well informed and advised to just leave off the queso). The menu is clearly marked and staff is very knowledgeable and reassuring. I ended up at Porchlight late on a Thursday night when I was in the area needing a place open late for good food and drinks. It really delivered and was wonderful to be able to share delicious gf food.

They have a dedicated fryer for gf foods. I’m super sensitive to any cross contamination and didn’t get sick! (Had the popcorn, jerky, hush puppies, and eggplant dip with a gf cocktail). Safe for “bar food” and a nice atmosphere-

We got fried chicken that was great, also fried calamari, chili, and a salad and all was celiac friendly. Confirmed by the chef that no gluten goes into the fryer. I'm celiac and this was awesome.
