Wow what a cluster. Called ahead like usual and the person who answered was maybe a little high but talked about separate prep spaces and separate pans for pizza. I get there and the waiter is like wow no way can you eat pizza or calzones here with celiac. I said the person I spoke to via phone said there was a separate prep space and she said people who answer the phone can’t be trusted. Alright then so I ordered a boring salad I didn’t actually want. I flagged down a manager just after ordering. Said I got conflicting info about the safety for celiac. She said “ok” and went to walk away. I continued talking and said the waiter said it wasn’t safe for me to eat pizza there. She said she disagreed citing a separate pizza slicer for GF pizzas but didn’t say much else. I asked why the waiter would say one thing and the person working the phones would say another. She said “I’ll talk to staff about it” and never returned to our table. Beyond disappointed! My salad was fine. Consistent messaging is so key If you have celiac. The manager obviously didn’t give one single crap about whether or not I enjoyed my meal.
