Poseidon's Pantry Gourmet Grocery & Deli

I stopped in to grab some pantry items in a pinch since the local grocery stores have virtually zero options. Sadly, they no longer carry any bread or rolls for purchase, as their freezer broke and they opted to not replace it. It’s also fair to point out that they’re closing permanently in Sept 2022.

This place is a foodie paradise and I felt very safe eating there! Lots of snacks, fresh cheese...and all sandwiches can be made on gf roll or bread. Two thumbs up!

Cute place. Bought GF cookies, GF plantain crackers, pimento cheese dip and loved it. Celiac in our group got Cubano sandwich on GF bread and enjoyed it (with potato chips & lemonade). No symptoms. Good experience. Ate at picnic table out back.

I got a BLT with GF bread. My daughter got an Italian hoagie with a GF roll. Both had a decent up charge and they were much smaller than the sandwiches the rest of the family got. Overall, we were not impressed.

This place has a lot of lovely items. The sandwich area does have gluten free sub rolls, but there isn't really space for a dedicated GF section. They are very mindful when making the GF sandwich, but there is a chance for cross-contamination.

There are several shelves of GF items. Everything I the store is well labeled and organized. Super sweet emplpyees. Would recommend stopping in if you are here.

Pimento cheese is unreal on the GF crackers. I had the adult grilled cheese on GF bread and it was delicious. No problems with being glutened. They have a lot of GF provisions and we will definitely be visiting again before our trip is over!

Called the facility when we were there on vacation before we got to the restaurant (thankfully). There is NO dedicated gluten free space and they are a sandwich shop and said they only offer GF bread, they try to take every precaution they can to make the prep GF but don't guarantee it will be GF.

Always a great meal on gluten free bread. Plus all of the extra items in the store!

They can make practically any sandwich with gluten free bread. They cleaned the panini press before making my hot sandwich. Also had gf chips and brownies and a little market with other gf items. Great find!

They have a bit of everything! The gluten free sandwich I had was on a hogie roll and is was sooo soft and fresh! They had gluten free packaged cookies and chips, among other things. I highly recommend!

What a treasure Poseidon's is! Stopped for lunch...a difficult decision since all deli sandwiches can be made on gf bread! I had the ham and brie on panini, so delicious! Did a little shopping in the gourmet grocery area (again, many gf choices) while we waited. Enjoyed our lunch (including a gf brownie!) on the porch! Wish I had such a gem a little closer to home!

Love this place! Great food and friendly staff. A good selection of healthy grocery items as well. A nice find in a small island town.

So refreshing to be able to go on vacation and still get quality food! Had a great salad one day and great blt another. Nice grocery options also and it didn't break the bank.
