Gluten Intolerant

I made the reservation in Resy.com and called the restaurant to inform them of a GF diner in our party. Our waiter was aware of that and had a good understanding of gluten. Most of the menu can be made GF. There is no GF bread and the only dessert was gelato. However, the meal was outstanding! The food is amazing-great taste, creative, beautifully plated, and a cozy, charming environment. We had a different server deliver our gelato and it came with gluten-containing cookies. We only knew that because another diner (not requiring GF) at our table ordered gelato and the cookies were the same. We sent it back and quickly received a replacement with GF cookies. Obviously, our main waiter did not communicate the need for GF thoroughly. We would still recommend and return to Primo, but, as always, GF diners must be vigilant when dining out!

Celiac

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We let them know when we made the reservation that I have celiac and they made note of it on our reservation. I reminded our waitress and she was very knowledgeable about what they could offer me. I would say 99% of the menu can be made gluten free. The message was passed on to the kitchen staff as well because a kitchen assistant came out with a “taster” of lobster bisque and he assured me it was gluten free even before I had to ask! They even had a crust less cheese cake with gluten free cookies for dessert (among a couple other gf options!) The food was delicious, fresh and well prepared and the service was excellent!

Amazing little gem! We ate here on the recommendation of our innkeper, and it was a lovely experience. Everything is made from scratch, and all ingredients are from the oniste fram or locally sourced. Our server was patient with questions and very thorough in checking everything out.
