This was a great place to get a sandwich and very knowledgeable about cross contamination. They ask if its a gluten allergy or preference and clarify with an allergy they will sanitize the work station (and your order will take longer). They also wrapped my sandwich in a separate bag from my partners regular sandwich. They have GF focaccia, wraps, or bagels and many soups are also gluten free. I have celiac and did not react at all! And as a bonus it was really delicious with high quality ingredients.

great food! big selection of gf and df options. the owner is super helpful with any questions and let me know that they would sterilize any utensils that would be used for my food and whether any of the food my spouse ordered was gf (it wasn’t so that was good to know). highly recommend and will be back next time i’m in princeton

Entire menu of sandwiches can be made gluten free. Soups are labeled but not all GF. When we were there they had to substitute ingredients for those that were out. A few bar stools to eat at but most orders are takeout. Overall good experience.

Today I visited the new Cranberry NJ location. Parking was plentiful and easy. The team at the counter was so helpful. They walked me through their menu and soups and how most of their menu can be made gluten free with either a gluten free focaccia or wrap. They also can put it in an avocado. They label the soups for allergies and share the ingredients. They also explained that if you let them know you need gluten free they will clean the grill and cook and prepare your meal separately. Anyhow, I got the lobster roll in an avocado. Not cheap but so incredibly good and a real treat - something I have once in a great while so worth the splurge. I got the turkey Ruben on gluten free focaccia. I’m going to have it for lunch tomorrow but I did try a bite of it and it was absolutely wonderful. I got my mom the chicken soup and a banana smoothie. She seemed to like them. I also got some ratatouille soup and turkey chili for Saturday. They let me have a little sample so I know they are really good. I ate my sample while I waited and the turkey chili was really good cold so I think I may eat it cold instead of heating it up. It is nice to have a place like this close to home. Will definitely be back.
On a follow up - was so impressed with the first lobster roll came back and splurged for another. Not worth it this time. Lots of small claw meat and only 2 big chunks. For the price it should be more like the first one. That said I have been back for the GF Turkey Ruben and it has been consistently good. Also tried the tomato GF soup
And I really liked it. Just can no longer recommend the lobster roll. If I ordered it I would do it as an eat in store so I could hand it back if it were not good. This time I took it home and was kind of stuck with it.

I had an excellent experience at Princeton Soup & Sandwich. Walking up, we could smell the bacon & other fresh foods being prepped—-lovely! Nice menu & the employees were very knowledgeable & inquired if I was celiac or just sensitive. When I told them celiac, they informed me it would take a bit longer bc they clean the surfaces & change out gloves/utensils etc. (of course, I loved hearing that & felt much safer dining here). I had a cup of vegetable soup (there was also gf tomato soup on the menu) and an everything bagel with cream cheese. Delish! I was sooo thrilled to eat a bagel & ended up ordering 2 more for the road. They also offer a gf focaccia or gf wrap if u are inclined to get a sandwich. Really enjoyed this place & appreciated the extra effort they make to protect us celiacs. Delicious food & fantastic service!

This establishment is a little shop on the corner of Hullfush street and Palmer Square East. The service is great and they are very personable. They have gluten-free foccatia! I haven't had that in so long! I definitely recommend this place as they have a lot of options. They prep carefully for those who are celiac or extremely intolerant. I felt safe.

They have multiple soups that are gluten free + they offer gluten free wraps and bagels! The tomato soup with rice is one of my favorites (that I can’t ever find in FL) so I was very excited and it did not disappointment!! The wrap was average but it would probably be much better if it was toasted! Overall I would go back! 🙂

What a fantastic little place! As soon as I said Celiac/gluten free one guy behind the register started listing all of my options as well as modifications and protections against cross contamination while the other immediately started cleaning the grill and all of the prep areas for me. I was so impressed. Both of them were so knowledgeable. I had one of the specials of the day. They were out of gf bread and bagels so I had it in a wrap (which was great and didn’t even fall apart much!). Everything was so flavorful and fresh and they did a wonderful job. I wish one of these would open near the Rutgers New Brunswick campus so I could have somewhere safe to eat there too! I need an excuse to go back!

Five Stars! The staff understood our needs and concerns. The food was absolutely delicious. The ten vegetable soup and GF wraps were excellent. Reasonably priced, excellent service and plenty of options for the whole family. Thoroughly recommended. Looking forward to our next visit!

Very clear and specific about food allergens, and have dedicated prep areas to avoid gluten contamination. They're very flexible with substitutions, and even have gluten free bagels available.

Bring my daughter here often and have only had positive experiences. Their soups are amazing!
I haven't had a good bagel in about a decade. The gluten free bagel here was as close to a gluten bagel as one could be! They are happy to clean and sanitize surfaces to accommodate gluten free needs. They are super friendly and remembered me when I came back for lunch. Great little find in Princeton!

Gluten free bagels and super nice service!
Love this place! They are very accommodating and will make whatever sandwich you desire on a gluten free bagel or wrap. Got the deluxe grilled cheese on a gluten free bagel and it was delicious. Soups are clearly labeled
This place lived up to the previous positive reviews! I talked extensively with the staff members behind the counter and they were well aware of cross contact and how to avoid it. I had a delicious hummus avocado wrap and a special summer blueberry salad- i also appreciated the local sourcing. The soups were also delicious, unfortunately we were too full to do much more than sample them! A delicious, fairly healthy meal with lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well.

Very knowledgeable and considerate staff! They sanitized everything before preparing my sandwich.

my go-to spot! the woman behind the counter is always so sweet and takes the time to clean everything off. most of the soups are already gluten free and you have a choice of gf wrap, bread, or bagel so there are tons of options.

My family and I went here right when it opened on a Sunday and even though they were still setting up, they dropped everything to help us. 1st great sign was that when we ordered our gluten free bagels he asked us if it's an allergy. 2nd great sign was that no one got sick! The kids had peanut butter on gluten free bagels with fresh orange juice and us adults got breakfast sandwiches on gf bagels. Very yummy and filling. Not sure how busy they get but on a Sunday morning it was nice to sit outside and enjoy our food (there is only 1 table inside!)

I was so happy to be able to have lunch from a place my office was ordering from for a meeting. I got the Tavo on a gluten free bagel and it was great! I love the sweet note bagels they use - yes they are a bit dense and tough, but the flavor is awesome. I did not get sick and will absolutely be back!
Super sweet employees!! I have other allergies as well and they went above and beyond to make sure they were not an ingredient in the things I ordered! I tad pricey but it's also Princeton! Lol
Many of the soups are gluten-free. The ingredients are clearly labeled for all their soups, which are very delicious. The summer vegetable is my favorite! They carry gluten-free wraps and bagels as well.
