This is purely a review as a celiac person NOT a general review ( their food is honestly delicious). My server was amazing and double checked multiple times to figure out what the had that was safe for celiac folks. Unfortunately the only thing they have that they can be sure of is the salad . It's delicious but I will not go out just for a salad

My family and I had a late lunch on 11/24 and it was not a great experience. The waitress was unpleasant and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. When she took our order, she told my sister and brother in law that if someone was a celiac, it’s unsafe to eat there. I overheard her and said, excuse me?! She then corrected herself and said that they cannot guarantee the food doesn’t have traces of gluten - which is a typical response but that’s what should have been said instead of her previous statement. I don’t have celiacs, I have a gluten allergy but her statement was so unsettling I barely ate the salad and brisket my sister and I ordered to share. Please educate your servers to properly present your food standards or don’t mark your menu to have gluten free items.

Do NOT use the Bacon BBQ sauce, it contains wheat. The waiter verified that the brisket plate is gluten free without the hush puppies (this is what it says on their website). It comes with bbq sauce on it, and I asked the waiter to verify that it was gluten free. He said it was, that it is the same sauce they have at the table. Wheat is listed in the ingredients. They remade the plate without bbq sauce. They were up front about possible cross contamination in the fryer.

The online menu available via Yelp had all GF items marked. The paper menu in the restaurant didn't. I reviewed the Yelp menu and ordered the brisket sans hush puppies with blackened green beans and duck fat fries. It's a common frier and I'm only "intolerant" so I gave it a go. It was amazing. Whiskey selection is also wide and deep. Give it a go but consult their online menu, it clearly states what to sub out on each dish.

I love this place we come multiple times a year! I always order a platter of meat with no bun or anything and I do splurge for the fries which have not made me sick although I do believe they are cooked in an unsafe fryer. The staff is always very friendly and happy to answer your questions!

Gluten free menu is not actually a different menu, just shows you you can’t have anything on the menu! Fryer is not safe, no gluten free bread for burgers, most of the menu is fried, and even the bbq sauce is not safe. I ordered the bbq pork not knowing, only to be so disappointed that I couldn’t even have sauce on it. Boxed it and brought it home to eat with condiments. Drinks are great, but the menu is very limited for celiac

I had the bbq pork with no bun, a side of beans, and a cider here. No sickness after. Everything was delicious, albeit a little pricey for the area. Definitely some options for gf here!

I can't believe this place advertises gluten-free when the menu, the staff, and the kitchen are misinformed about gluten. Under "Sandwiches," for example, it says that all sandwiches can be made gluten free if you order it without a bun. Yet, one of the sandwich options is "beer-battered" fish. Clearly, removing the bun is not going to make this sandwich gluten free. I made the mistake of ordering a bbq pork sandwich sans bun anyway, despite not trusting them because of the misinformed menu, and have felt sick all night. They also have no gluten free beer. Avoid if Celiac.

Don't be misled by menu. What it says and what reality is quite disappointing. Staff is not knowledgeable and they don't carry gluten free beer.

They do have Gf menu. I don't recommend going if you have an allergy, but it's fine of you're just trying to avoid it gluten. They weren't too informed about Gf-but the menu is good.
