My Husband and I really wanted sushi, but I have celiacs so it’s always hard finding a place where I don’t get obliterated. I found Project Sushi on this app and saw the rave reviews so we had to try it. We showed up right before they closed because we saw the wrong closing times. They were so gracious to have us stay. Jon the owner is fantastic and pointed me to all of my options, which is a ton and they made adjustments as needed. They have gluten free rice and soy sauce. Their sushi is SO GOOD! For some kick, get the hurricane (they substituted regular jalapeño) and my favorite was the Roller (pronounced rawler). My husband got the spicy tuna and the choke and loved both of them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I immediately informed them that I was celiac and the owner took my order and explained everything that was safe for me to eat. The owner and his family have celiac and he is very knowledgeable! I ordered the California roll with the gluten free crab. Also they have gluten free rice that they use!

The owners wife and daughter actually have celiac disease! It’s not on their menu but they have gluten free imitation crab and gluten free soy sauce, and they don’t use wheat vinegar in their rice like most sushi places. 1000% recommend, the staff is trained on allergens wonderfully :)

The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They used a separate mat and had precautions in place to avoid cross contamination. The woman who helped me place my order knew which rolls were safe, and was evan able to substitute gluten free crab. I was offered gluten free soy sauce when I picked up my order. The food was delicious, and my daughter did not have any problems after. We will definitely go back!
