I have been here for two events. I never had a problem. The food is delicious. P.S their signature gluten free dessert is a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. It’s excellent.
Yes
One of our go-to take-out comfort foods is the turkey dinner (adult or kid's) or the Yankee pot roast with the mashed potatoes and butternut squash. The meats are a little dry at times without the gravy (sometimes we add our own), but, oh, the mashed potatoes! Have had both several times at the Publick House and take-out without incident. However, since the baked goods are all in the jammed-packed cases in the bake shop, we've not tried anything fearing cross-contamination.
The Bake Shop at the inn had chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. I tried the chocolate and it was yummy. The flourless cake however, was very mushy and tasted under-cooked. Since it was called cake, the texture took me by surprise.
A different review mentioned turkey dinner however my research of their menu indicates that the turkey dinner is NOT available as gluten free. They mark gf items on the menu. They do seem yo have many other options. Also definitely not a $ closer to $$$
