I ordered the avocado toast and told the waitress that I was allergic to both gluten and dairy. My meal came out with cheese all over the top so I had them remake it.
The waitress told me that she wrote “dairy allergy and gluten allergy, gluten-free bread and no cheese” on the order, but they “didn’t see the no cheese part.” This sounded kind of strange because wouldn’t they have taken the cheese off if they truly paid attention to the dairy allergy note?
This made me wonder about things like cross contamination and if they really read all the labels for gluten or if they just swapped the bread only. I didn’t feel great after eating and I didn’t feel great the next day so it does lead me to believe that there might be some cross-contamination issues.
The service was also VERY slow so while I wanted to love this place. I won’t be going back.

This place is amazing! The owners daughter has celiac so she knows and educates her staff. They keep everything separate. I have never been sick here and I am extremely sensitive! They have the best French toast. All their drinks are fun and yummy. I cannot say enough good things about

Had breakfast there few times and had the GF Texas French toast. Unsure about cross contamination as I don’t have typical symptoms and only a sensitivity to gluten.
