Gluten free donuts are usually fried in the same fryer as regular donuts, do not safe for celiac. I was told that on some days of the week they change the oil and when they do that they fry the gluten free ones first so they ARE safe, but I wouldn't rely on that. Disappointing - either commit to frying separately or don't, instead of having them sometimes safe and sometimes not safe. That's risky and unfair to people who may get lucky on a "safe" day and then not ask about the fryer every single time.

PVDonuts does have Gf donuts, but sadly today they told me they were fried in the same oil as the regular donuts :( I'd be cautious and ask before ordering just in case that is the case when you go.

Amazing place for countless reasons, and one of the most thoughtful bakeries I've been to re: cross contamination avoidance (cleaned fryers with new oil daily, fried first, and placed on top rack). Worth the wait!
Yes
Their flourless donuts are hands down the best I have ever had. They are so good you would definitely never know they are GF. Every month they make 2 new flavors. October’s are a cider and a pumpkin chai donut. Both are amazing! They donut (LOL) guarantee risk of cross contamination but I have been eating their flourless donuts for the past few months and have never been sick from them. They cook them first in the morning and are on the top shelve on separate trays so they try their best. I only have a gluten intolerance so I don’t know if someone with celiacs would be safe eating here. If you are ever in Providence or are in the mood for a road trip to get some unbelievably good donuts head on down to PVDonuts!
