Stumbled across this restaurant in the Fresh & Local Market & Kitchens and needless to say, I will be going back. I’m a huge fan of pupusas, so my husband and I ordered the pupusa bites to try something a bit different. First of all, these “bites” are much larger than expected, so the value is great. However, what I really want to rave about is the flavor. Im not even kidding when I tell you that I devoured two of these before my husband even took his second bite. We ate this food so fast I completely forgot to take a picture. Generally speaking, I tend to avoid curtido as I find it’s usually a bit soggy for my liking and I don’t love when there’s excess liquid hanging around messing with the texture. However, this curtido was super crisp and added the perfect flavor combo. We also got an order of the yuka fries and they were crispy af. Paired with the curtido, it tasted almost like a salt and vinegar chip but were also great on their own. It’s also such a blessing to find dedicated gf restaurants with a lot of variety in their menu, where you can freely try anything without worry. LOVED this food and can’t wait to stop by again to try more of the menu and to also take some frozen pupusas home for later!

Ate here at the expo Latino festival. I’m Salvadoran and have been craving food I grew up on that I can actually eat! I’m celiac and allergic to lactose, they accommodated my food by removing cheese from the pupusa. Had a great meal, and didn’t get sick at all.
