The atmosphere is cozy and the food had wonderful, interesting flavors. The menu is sophisticated. The wait staff was wonderful about accommodating our celiac daughter and many of the menu items could be adapted for her. The gf fried chicken and waffles was dynamite!! Loved the Brussels sprouts too.

I’ll start with the good: the food was excellent. Also, the waitress said only 3 things in the menu have gluten and the other fried things are fried in a separate fryer.
Now the bad: the waitress was a bit aggressive in her responses when I was trying to ask follow up questions, it was quite unnecessary. Also, we ordered the special for dessert which had multiple ice creams, all but one was gf and she pointed it out supposedly. It was the wrong one which I found out by eating it. When I told her, instead of an apology she just kept insisting it was gluten free and when accepting it wasn’t blamed it on the kitchen. Then, later said “well, we did good on everything else”. And she didn’t remove the item from the bill.
I try not to allow one mess up to prevent me from eating there again but her attitude didn’t help.

Despite reporting allergies and being assured they were not a problem, waitstaff did not report to kitchen, leading my wife to be served food with allergens which made her sick on Christmas Eve. Waitstaff was unaware of ingredients in the menu and did not inquire after reassuring us of safety. Please be aware this restaurant is not accommodating of allergies. An expensive and sad Christmas Eve for our family.

Loved this place. I have celiacs and did not have any issues. They have a gf fryer and only two items with gluten. The trout was amazing! Would love to go there again.

Most items on menu were gluten free. Our server Tam was very knowledgeable. I had the risotto with vegetables and a poached egg - it was heavenly!

I am a very sensitive celiac and have eaten here many times with no issues. I love this place and really hope they make it through COVID-19.

We were underwhelmed by our experience at R & R. The service was nice. The menu did not offer GF & the kitchen did not seem especially accommodating except to leave off a portion of the dish that contained gluten, which left fewer choices. For example, one of the very few apps I could eat was roasted asparagus, and they put the garnish of andouille crumbs on the side which was fine, but $14 for a small plate of plain grilled asparagus seemed overpriced even for “downtown Santa Fe prices”.
They served a small dish of ‘fennel duck fat’ popcorn which I could eat, and that was a fun touch.
I had the pork chop on polenta which was huge and delicious. My husband had the trout (not GF) which he also enjoyed. We had flourless chocolate cake which was delicious.
I can drink bourbon, scotch, etc w/o problems- maybe because it’s distilled. R&R is a Bourbon Bar, and indeed had three pages of Bourbons to choose from, which was fabulous. I found one of my favorites that is so difficult to get anywhere: Angel Envy. That was a plus! However, when I asked for a taste of something comparable before ordering another drink (which I’ve had at other restaurants commonly), the waitress told me “they don’t do tastes”. OK, again not accommodating.
Overall, food & service were good but we won’t go back.
Great food, and we ultimately had a safe meal, but surprised to find that neither waiter or owner knew what gluten-free meant.
Many gluten free options. I had the fried cauliflower, which was spicy, but very tasty; lamb chops; and flourless chocolate cake. Everything was delicious!
