I told the server working the line I had a gluten allergy and before I even finished saying it - she was changing her gloves and telling her colleagues they needed to “clean the line” so she could serve me safely. She knew protocols immediately and got fresh food from the kitchen that was certain not to have cross contamination. It’s been a long time since I have get this sure eating at a fast food location that it would be 100% safe.
