Great place with knowledgeable staff! As soon as you mention celiac they will wash their hands, put on new gloves, and grab a new ice cream scoop. They also have a list of all gluten free ice cream options.

They get that GF is not just a lifestyle choice. I said celiac and they showed me the flavor list) posted right when you walk in) which flavors were safe. They wash hands and put on new gloves and use a new scooper. They offer 2 kinds of GF cones - sugar or cake. So far my favorite has been the lemon poppyseed on a sugar cone. It’s less than $4 too.

They seem knowledgeable, had just put on fresh gloves I said celiac she took off clean gloves washed her hands put on new gloves got out a fresh scoop. They have 2 kinds of gf cones. Menu warns of all allergies. Been there 4 times no reactions.

I've been there many times and have there non dairy I've cream I feel safe eating there they get fresh scoops and make sure they get different gloves. They take it very seriously. And they make sure very thing is clearly labeled.

They have gluten free and dairy free options clearly marked on the menus outside and inside. They have a ton of options and the staff seemed knowledgeable. They changed gloves and got fresh scoops. They have GF cones and sometimes even have GF cookies to make ice cream sandwiches. It is a bit TOO good.

A dessert heaven for celiacs! They have GF cones and always numerous GF flavor choices clearly marked on their laminated menu that changes weekly. Staff has always changed gloves and seem to understand protocol without having to be told. Hands down the most delicious ice cream I have had and it's nice to know I'm safe.

Staff changed gloves, used a new clean scoop, and GF cones are in a separate location. Staff is knowledgeable of Celiac and Nut allergies. Do not charge extra for a GF cone (nice). Only concern is there is a risk of cross contamination as they do take multiple scoops out of the same ice cream tubs when making GF and non GF cones. Changing for a clear scoop between each cone helps minimizes the risk, but it is still there. My child with Celiac did not feel any bad effects afterwards and liked her GF cone.

My 15 yo was just diagnosed celiac before her birthday. She had heart set on ice cream cake but I couldn’t find an option. I called Ramone’s and they checked in with an owner then called me back to say yes, they would go get some gluten free graham cracker crusts to make 2 custom ice cream pies. They were delicious! A total hit! A+ GF, A+ delicious, A+ Customer service.

Wow!! They have gluten free cones (2 kinds) and the ice cream is LEGIT. We went twice in one day while on our trip to Eau Claire.
