My boyfriend has celiac and has never had an issue with the pepperoni GF cauliflower crust pizza here! Be warned: they often don’t label the box if you order to go!

Huge gluten free menu and many can be made dairy free too. Desserts from Defloured. I don’t have celiac though so I can’t speak to cross contamination risk.

We eat at Ranalli’s regularly. It is one of our go-to safe places that we know my husband (celiac) will not get sick from. Someone in the owner’s family has celiac, so they are extremely knowledgeable and take every precaution necessary to ensure a safe meal. Not only is it safe, it’s also delicious!!

I was super hopeful because they have gluten free and vegan pizza and when I called to ask about safety, the person I spoke to seemed super on top of things and said all the right things about preparing my food separately to avoid cross contamination. However, I got super sick after eating their food, which was a real bummer because it tasted really good, especially for having vegan cheese. I will not eat there again.

The bread and desserts come from Wheat’s End Cafe which is a popular dedicated gluten free restaurant. I felt safe about my BLT and it was wrapped and placed inside a marked container. The fries were a huge risk because I do not know the status of their fryer but it’s about 12 hours later and I feel fine. Also the food was exceptional.
Every section of the menu has a corresponding gluten free section. With options exclusive to the GF menu. There were so many gluten free options
My friend ordered a regular eggplant parm sandwich and said it was amazing.

Definitely had a reaction to the food :/ I was super disappointed. There must have been some cross-contamination. I have celiacs and I was so sick after and experienced a lot of my usual symptoms. In my opinion, it is not safe for people with celiacs. Maybe it is safe sometimes based on looking at some of the reviews on here but it isn’t safe always so I won’t take the risk again.

I've eaten here on multiple occasions and haven't gotten sick. They have a ton of gluten free options.
Yes
Edit to previous good review. They messed up my order and gave me a gluten hamburger bun. They wouldn’t even respond to my complaint. I was violently ill for hours. I’m done with them now.
Really delicious sauce on pasta/pizza. Has gf croutons even. Large gf menu.

So many gluten free options - a full page worth!! Loved the pasta!!
This spot is not safe if you’re a sensitive celiac, as I am. Went once and it was great - excellent GF crust, bottled cider available, staff seemed to understand. Next time we went, I got a serious cross-contamination and had skin rash and brain fog for a week. We’ve opted not to eat here in the future, sadly.
Someone involved in management or their family has celiac (I can't remember the exact details), so they know how to avoid CC in the kitchen. They have a pretty extensive GF menu. Pizza is great. My two celiac daughters love their pasta options. They also have salads and sandwiches with bread from Wheat's End Cafe and dessert options from Defloured (also in the neighborhood). Plus, they deliver, which is a rarity for GF options.

I have celiac and I have been eating here for 7 years. I have never gotten sick. Their gluten free pizza with the flax seed crust is fantastic. They also have good gluten free chicken wings. Sandwich bread used to be better but their original bread supplier is no longer in business (Rose's).
Were easily able to handle gluten and dairy allergies. We had several different allergies and were able to order online and put that info in the comments. None of us had any reactions so I would recommend this place.
Cross-contamination here is a problem. One visit is fine, the next is not. We've simply opted to no longer take the chance.
Ranalli's was awesome! My daughter had GF cheese garlic bread at a restaurant for the first time since dx 2 years ago!! Food and service was great.

Shared a gf pizza with my husband who is not gf. I loved it, great flavor and did no cheese on my half. if you want cheese and are either vegan or dairy free they have vegan cheese too. Beer is great too, and yes I mean beer. They have 2 gf ciders & 1 beer made with rice flour. service was good. I'd also recommend the gf hot wings, we'd go back just for them!
Great food but, an OK staff...
My second favorite pizza crust in Chicago. Great selection of food. Decent beer too.
Huge GF menu. Good pizza crust.
Best gluten free pizza in the state :) 2nd only to Willie O's in Michigan.
Great pasta,pizza, and desserts.
Food is good, (my not GF friends loved the bread) I enjoyed my meal, the bread from Rose's in Evanston is yummy. great dive location to grab a meal, but the GF menu is a bit pricey.
Full menu ranging from Italian to pizza to sandwiches. Great for delivery an catering too. I order delivery regularly and have never been cross contaminated which shows they practice consistency in their kitchen.
