This restaurant has definitely upped it's GF game. Still
No GF menu, but they have lots of GF options to eat- we had a great meal. But bring your own GF tortilla chips so you can indulge in their salsas.
After an older review I was concerned about eating in a restaurant we love to drop by every time we're north of Santa Fe...no worries, they are now GF aware!

The food was delicious, and our server seemed very knowledgeable and helpful about what items are gluten free. She was kind and didn't get agitated about our concerns. She brought me steamed corn tortillas to eat while everyone else had fried corn tortillas to eat with salsa, guac, and pico de Gallo because she knew that I couldn't eat tortillas fried in oil that is also used for items with gluten. We were able to sample 3 different desserts...,flan, chocolate mousse, and another pudding dessert...all gluten free.

I called twice in advance, but the people I spoke with didn’t know if they could accommodate celiac. I went anyways and asked as nicely as possible when we arrived and the hostess made me cry. She said they could not accommodate celiac in any way and nothing on the menu was gluten-free—which is clearly not true—and she was mean about it. I understand that some restaurants can’t accommodate and that’s fine, but there is absolutely no reason to be treated the way I was.

This is an excellent restaurant with marvelous foiod, separate prep stations when one needs to be gluten free, and waiters who know how to suggest gluten free foods and prep methods that the person who wants to avoid a gluten contamination response will enjoy. I highly recommend Rancho de Chimayo!!!
