Staff was very nice. Restaurant was clean and they had an allergen menu clearly marked.

Staff said if you want gluten free this is not the restaurant for you.

Rude servers, dirty tables. Provided a gluten free lunch/dinner menu at breakfast and then told me I could not order off that menu for breakfast.

Left after sitting down. We were told that we’d have to guess on the menu’s gluten contents, and since I’m a Celiac, we shouldn’t eat there.

The gluten free menu seemed to include a nice selection. The service was not the best. I got the sausage platter and it was very good. I did not get sick so that was also good.

Edit 2019: went again for sausage. It’s safe! No reaction.

2018: had the salmon which was pretty good. I had hoped for the sausage, but it’s cooked in beer. The restaurant seemed too busy to attempt a special order. Next time, I’d probably order a couple of the gluten free sides like the cabbage and kraut. They should take the sausage off the GF menu or change it.

Waitress was great, asked if I was celiac. Confirmed that sausage no longer cooked in beer. Had Opa's plate, sausage, sauerkraut (very good!) and veggies I was offered in place of the bread. Would definately return.

Very good meal. They no longer cook German sausages in beer so they are gluten free. (Their GF menu is out of date, so I asked the chef). Meal was hot and fresh and came quickly.

They have decent gluten free food, but the sausage is all soaked in beer so there's not really any authentic German food that's also gluten free.

Though they have a gluten-free menu that includes the Sausage Plate, our server insisted that the sausage was soaked in beer and contained gluten. We drank our wine and left.

They had a good gluten free menu. On the specials board was lemon pepper trout. They made it without flour & with fresh cracked pepper & lemon. I traded for sides of sauerkraut and red cabbage both were safe and delicious!

I ordered a burger with fries, no bun. The food was good however there was fried breeding mixed among the fries. I brought it to the waitresses attention. She said she would let the cooks know. Then she took my plate, walked past the cooking area, left the plate in a room behind the cooks and came back out too quickly we were certain no discussion was had. No apology, no discount. We are not going back.

The food was great! It had a little bit of everything. I was diagnosed with celiac a year ago and anything even with a small trace of cross contamination I could be sick for days. I never got sick and was very pleased :)

Food is delicious. Owner is a sweetheart. If you order sausage make sure they grill it. The regular is boiled in beer.

Yes, the menu is limited but what dedicated GF menu is not? They offered 3-4 salads and 3-4 entrees on their GF dinner menu. I'm also allergic to milk so they adapted a GF entree for me. I had the cornmeal crusted salmon with sautéed spinach and grilled veggies. It was very good. The fish was a little bland but the veggies more than made up for it. Helpful wait staff.

Ask for the GF menu. Not a lot of options, but grilled chicken and cheddar mashed potatoes were excellent. Grilled veggies were also generous and tasty.

They are very celiac friendly with a printed menu listing gluten free options. Not a huge range of items, but enough to find something I liked.

When we walked in I had no idea what my options would be. I got lucky with a waitress that was also GF, so she was more than willing to answer my questions about the menu. Our group started with the Spinach Dip and we had it served with the tortilla chips because they were GF. For the main course I had the sirloin steak, German potato salad and green chili corn. The steak was a little overdone and salty, but overall it was a good meal.
