Very cute decor and theme. Decent selection of gf options. Enchilada soup is very good. The coffee shakes and the tell tale heart club are my two recommendations. Very tasty options. I’ve been going here for years and have never gotten sick.

Many great GF choices and a very cool restaurant. Feels like you are in a movie set for an old European cafe.

Ok let’s talk safety and food. My wife, who is celiac, got a hummus veggie sandwich with gluten free bread. It came with chips and she got an oranges spiced tea. She said it was ok and that is it. The staff seemed to be knowledgeable about GF but I am not sure.
Now for the bad part. The theme was Edgar Allen Poe and it was cool but only kind of themed. We had to choose our own seats and the bartender told me they found one. I went to grab it and this guy yelled at me that it was saved. Found out later this was the owner and he was rude.
We got a seat on a balcony and these two kids kept running around. The boy spit off the balcony twice. The second time I yelled at him and guess what? It was the owners kids! I told him and he took the kids away and didn’t even say sorry to me or the people who saw that happen.
I knew this was the owner because I saw a news article on the wall. So my wife and I drove an hour and half to check this place out and it is not worth the travel to go back.

Server very knowledgeable and helpful regarding wheat and dairy ingredients, offering to substitute a soup when she had concerns about the dairy in the slaw or potato salad and I didn’t show interest in the chips. Good food. Great atmosphere. Very busy. I felt well served

Had a wonderful experience at the Raven! Tons of options (much of the menu can be modified to be GF and all the coffee is GF). Our server, Ren, was fantastic and took time to explain what the safe options were. Had the chicken salad sandwich on GF bread with a cup of tomato soup. Also got a peppermint mocha and the delicious GF chai brownie (closer to a blondie) with ice cream. Great service and did not get sick!

Staff was very knowledgeable and immediately told kitchen staff that she had a Celiac diner. LOTS of options. I chose the Spinach dip with tortilla chips and also a grilled cheese off the kids menu. Spinach dip was AMAZING! Atmosphere was really cool too! Highly recommend!

(Updated May 2018. It’s still awesome. I had a grilled sandwich with no reaction! It’s sucks a Dream!) Love this place. They have a large gluten free menu including soup. The sandwich bread was very good. Next time I'm in Port Huron for work, I'll be returning for sure.

Amazing food, knowledgeable and accommodating staff, and interesting decor. This Edgar Allan Poe-themed cafe accommodated my gf/df needs with delicious results. I recommend the pizzas and scones! YUM!
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about gluten free items, they have savory and sweet foods listed on the menu, everything is indicated on the regular menu, and I've had no issues with contamination over multiple visits. The chai brownie sundae is to die for!

They have gluten free friendly items but they are not listed separately. They can make any sandwich on a gluten free wrap and some of their soups are gluten free. Simply ask the wait staff and they will find out for you.
