Called this place since my husband was craving cabrito. Asked the lady who answered questions about cross contamination and what they used to season the cabrito. She patiently listened and asked someone else until she said she was going to pass the phone to the one who cooked it, he explained it was on the grill which there was not cross contamination with any meats or anything else since it was separate and only natural salt was used. We decided to try it out. I explained to the waiter I had Celiac and asked about cross contamination, he let me know that the cabrito was completely separate from everything else and explained they were trained and there was a lot of oversight to ensure no cross contamination was done as required by inspection that even the waiters were trained to be knowledge and ensure no cross contamination on their part. With this I ordered the cabrito and guacamole. The cabrito came with salad without croutons, and charro beans. The guacamole was avocado balls on a plate with the cilantro, serrano, onion, and tomato individually set on the plate which was great as I didn't want to only have the cabrito and have a tomato allergy. Limes were also provided. Our plate came with tortillas de masa but when asked the waiter said they were cooked on the same grill as the flour tortillas. I really enjoyed the cabrito as it was well cooked and tasted very good.. The guacamole was also very good. Of course cabrito is expensive and this we expected.
