Not good. Ordered GF beef and broccoli. The sauce they sautéed in was corn starch, salt, and water. The first bite isn’t horrible but it just gets worse every bite. The texture is off putting and super bland. Feels lazy to not make a GF sauce that’s comparable. Do not recommend.

I would say this place is gluten free if you’re dining at the restaurant. You need to be able to ask questions and they’re a little less than willing to answer them over the phone. No problems when eating at the restaurant itself. The staff is very friendly.

Sauce for beef and broccoli i was told is corn starch, salt, and water. This is the GF alternative.

I had a good experience dining GF here. The server seemed interested in making my experience feel safe. She asked the chef a few of my questions, and they will cater to GF needs well. They will make changes such as steaming the chicken instead of frying it, and they had GF soy sauce. The sushi had only rice vinegar in it. Great to have an Asian option!

Eat here often both locations...not only very educated they make it simple to order... never a hassle , have never made us feel bad like so many other restaurants do... amazing food, great prices for lunch and reasonable prices for dinner... so glad Greenville has this option available...super service also...my family is true celiac...

I’m very sensitive, been celiac for 14 years. I have NEVER had a problem here! It’s so nice to have a safe Chinese restaurant to go to. I would just suggest making sure they understand it’s a severe allergy so they are careful.

The menu is extensive. The food tastes great. I’ve ordered from here a few times and have only eaten “take-out”. Approx 50% of the time, I’ve had issues with either stomach pain or mouth sores...sure signs of gluten contamination for me. If you have celiac, like me, I don’t recommend it, at least until the management takes their claim of being GF seriously.

This restaurant has a great gluten free menu. However the last two times I’ve been there I’ve been gluten poisoned. Both times were related to servers being careless. My last visit the server brought me egg drop soup with wontons on the plate. I decided not to make a fuss only to bite into the soup and find a wonton. Then my entree was served with soy sauce. I knew it told the server, she told me I was wrong twice. I finally got the manager and he confirmed the dish was not gluten free. Because this is not an isolated incident as a celiac I’m not risking it again. Disappointing.

They have an extensive GF menu! I’ve only eaten here once and had the pad Thai with chicken and egg drop soup. The soup was delicious but I wasn’t a fan of the pad Thai. I plan to go back and try something else.

We were visiting Greenville and used the app for find somewhere to eat. We decided on Red Bowl because of the reviews. The first night we ate there the waitress was great, very helpful. We had several Chinese dishes that were outstanding and good sushi. The waitress was very good. We had such a great experience that we went back for Happy Hour 1/2 price sushi. The second time the food was still good but the waiter was not as helpful. He changed our order to something different because he said that the sushi we ordered was not Gluten Free (it was made Gluten Free the night before with no reactions). I do not think he was as knowledgeable as the waitress the night before. Also we watched the sushi chef contaminate the sushi before it was delivered. The manager did have it remade for us. When we received the bill, we saw that the waiter did not spell Gluten correctly (Gluetten, and Glue) this may have added to the confusion. Overall we think that the best items to order are the Chinese entrees and leave the sushi alone. We will eat here the next time we are in town though.

Awesome GF menu! Excellent no matter what choice I get. Shrimp dishes give you plenty of big shrimp. Shrimp green curry and shrimp mango are my two favorites.
