I went to dinner on a weekday evening, probably around 8:00 p.m. and clearly explained to the server that I have celiac disease and I'm very sensitive to cross contamination. He ASSURED me that they are very careful and use separate surfaces for gluten free food.

When he brought the fries out, I asked again if they were done in a different fryer that had not seen any gluten. He said NO, and proceeded to tell me that when the restaurant is busy, they don't use a separate fryer for gluten free items because it slows down the kitchen. (And he would not have told me this had I not asked.) My fries that night were cooked in the same fryer as cheese curds and onion rings that are coated in flour (Very thankful I didn't eat them, I could not imagine how ill I would've gotten.) When I explained to my server that I can't eat the fries because I will get extremely sick from them, he didn't seem to care.

It seems they care more about the flow of their restaurant rather than the well being of customers.

I do not recommend eating here if you are very sensitive to gluten, although they try to make it seem like they know what they're doing, they clearly do not and frankly don't care.

Celiac friendly?

No
