Red Drum Gastropub

Last night my celiac daughter (19yo) ate the gkuten free recommended fish entree and chocolate sufflee sp? dessert and today she is starting an internship program with a horribly messed up stomach. As they brought it to the table, they said here is your gluten free dish. It did have a sauce on it.. Today she will be in a new business environment needing frequent trips to the restroom.. Celiacs beware!

Excellent food! They don't have a separate GF menu but assured me that the server would be able to help me pick out GF options. Server informed me most of their stuff was made with a cornmeal base. I was able to have shrimp and grits (which you can't have in most restaurants) and they dressed it up with bacon and a tomato sauce they put on top of it. Very fancy and great to feel like I was finally getting to try something fancy and trendy in Charleston!
