Had a burger on gluten free sandwich bread and it was delicious. Fries are great too. Was so nice to eat something not super healthy just because I need to avoid gluten. Not sure about how careful they are but I was happy with the burger. A little expensive but it's a mountain town with expensive restaurants so not too bad price wise.

Staff didnt know what celiac was. Even told me “The kitchen wont know what that is” so i explained and got sick. Bad celiac reviews in idyllwild and palm springs. Beware.
No
I had the chicken salad and didn’t get sick. I asked the waiter to make a note of my allergy. I’m super sensitive and get hives right away if there’s any gluten. It wasn’t a gourmet meal but it was simple and safe.
Yes
I had a rueben with the bread on the side. Delicious. Generous serving.
I was worried about coming here since the last review was a year ago. I got a hamburger with fries. They have gluten free bread!!! It’s pretty good and the fries are gluten free and DELICIOUS. I did tell them a few times I have a severe gluten allergy because it’s too much sometimes to say Celiac Disease (and have to go through the explanation).
The waitress did tell me it was a extra $1.25 for gluten free bread and the burger was $8.95(for what that’s worth).
I also saw that they had gluten free blueberry muffins on their board but didn’t get a chance to ask about cross contamination, etc. I didn’t get a reaction from my meal and want to go back and try the cheeseburger.

I've eaten an omelet and a Philly Cheese steak sandwich on gluten-free bread. No reaction either time. The food was very good. I'm not sure about their fryer but food from the grill worked fine for me. It's a nice little cafe with nice people working there too.
Yes
Great place. Amazing food, try the inside out omelet. Great service, just one complaint- the menu does not state any gluten free info. It does not say what can be gf. Great place, a must try.
