Review

This restaurant is located in the Lenexa Public Market, so you order at the counter and sit anywhere you want. It’s like the food court at the mall. On the order screen at the kiosk, you can select a gluten-free tab. On the GF tab, there were three options: tacos, tamales, and tostadas. I picked the tamales, which there were 2: pork and chicken. I tried both. They are small like tamales in the southwest, so 3 is about right for a lunch portion, and they were good. The sides were a little boring. It was served with rice and refried beans. There are more better-looking options under the taco menu. I had a little food envy that I didn’t order those, but I was nervous because I didn’t want to get sick and tamales are usually safe. After lunch, I grabbed some GF macarons and protein balls from Butterfields next door. All in all, I didn’t get sick, so I’m a happy camper.
