Red Leaf Grill and Lounge

Was just there on a Saturday night and was locked up. Looks like it was closed for good. My son with Celiac was excited but had to go elsewhere.

Great gluten free food and options!! We were visiting Moncton for the week and my son having Celiacs was looking for a restaurant that offers gluten free fish and chips (very hard to find no matter where you live!) My husband googled "gluten free fish and chips in Moncton" and Red Leaf Grill and Lounge came up. We were so excited to find a place here making GF fish and chips. We've only come across one other restaurant in Exeter, Ontario who made GF battered fish. Red Leaf Grill has dedicated gluten free fryers because all of their fried foods are coated with the GF coating. They offer a wide array of GF fried foods that we have not found anywhere else - like their GF chicken wings and coconut shrimp. They were delicious! We had the hot wings and the honey garlic wings. The coating on the wings was crispy and so good! The honey garlic sauce was home made with real honey, garlic and onions and came in a small bowl so that you could dip your wings into it. I would have to say that these wings were some of the best we have had ( and that is saying a lot because my husband, other son and I do not have to eat gluten free and we loved these!) My son with Celiacs was so pleased because he has not had breaded wings at a restaurant since being diagnosed with Celiacs over 3 years ago. The coconut shrimp were hand made and were so yummy. Again this was a real treat for my son with Celiacs (and for the rest of us as well). For dinner we ordered their special of fish and chips. Two plates of fish and chips for $17.99. Good deal. My other son ordered the chicken tenders which is also coated in a GF coating. Everything was very good and we were so happy to have found Red Leaf Grill and Lounge. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 stars was because of the decor of the restaurant. The decor does seem dated with no real focus but to us the most important was the good food and GF options.
