Awful. 0/10. The server has no idea about allergies. The manager didn’t give a shit either.
I had called ahead & spoke to a different manager and he reassured me that the server would be knowledgeable not only about what having to eat gluten free means, but also about cross contamination. What we got was someone who didn’t know what celiac disease was or gluten. Even after elaborating. He brought biscuits, croutons on the salad, and breaded shrimp (we asked for no breaded shrimp.) and he had a real bad attitude about it too.
I understand eating out is a risk. However if I call and ask specifically and am reassured, I do expect someone who at least knows what any of this means, or if they mess up to at least say “sorry”. Would avoid if I were you.
