My daughter went to the deer park red lobster with her cousin on 3/5/2023 Sunday evening. My daughter has celiac and she asked the waiter for gluten free menu. She ordered a cocktail shrimp and a salad without croutons. She double checked with the waiter to make sure do not put croutons inside her salad because she has “gluten allergy”. However when the waiter put the salad on the table and there were crotons inside the salad. My daughter asked the waiter to replace it so she can safely eat her salad. The waiter was “nice” and took the salad back. After 5 min and he came back with a new salad without croutons. My daughter felt suspicious for some reason so she didn’t eat the salad. Her cousin ate the whole salad, but guess what she found when she almost finished her salad? Few pieces of croutons at the bottom of the salad! So I assume the waiter took the salad with croutons to the back and took out the croutons with his hands and gave the salad back to my daughter! This waiter has no professional ethics. He could make someone has allergy super sick! I strongly feel this must was not his first time do this and he also is not the only waiter does this. This is horrible business and Red Lobster needs to train their employees! I’m happy that my daughter didn’t eat it, otherwise today she could end up on bathroom floor or hospital!

My salmon and loaded baked potato were incredible. However, it took an hour to get our food. I don’t know if that’s a fluke or no.
Also, it is so hard to navigate the allergen menu. It would be nice if they could label on menu.

Notify waitress about allergies and gf, "ask chef to prevent cross contamination". I ask for specific meals specify specifics: no onions no garlic no soy no eggs (anything I can't have can't be on the grill. My meal is: Broiled Trout with no seasoning, or snow crab, baked plain potato (no butter, only canola oil on the side), orange slices on the side. No salad

Haven’t had an issues after eating. I do only order the endless shrimp. I get the scampi and grilled skewer. They do have an online allergen menu though. All wait staff seem to understand what the allergy is and never seem to frustrated about it.

I clearly stated no gluten or dairy. My salad came out with croutons. Waitress was not knowledgeable and did not seem to take my intolerances seriously when i ordered. No gf menu except they hand you an allergy guide to go through.

We have always gone to Red Lobster for my dad's birthday and this time was the 1st time I couldn't eat gluten. Our server was knowledgeable and anything he was unsure about he was willing to find out for me. Red Lobster also has an interactive online menu with potential allergens in there most common dishes, which I had looked through ahead of time. Of course with most non-dedicated establishments, they state there's always a risk for cross- contamination. I got a special of garlic butter crab legs that come on a bed of crispy potatoes. I also got a side salad w/ ranch and the server assured me that that there would be no croutons on my salad. Everything tasted great and I had no symptoms.
