I typically order the cheeseburger combo. no reaction to gluten. Absolutely love this place.

burger wasn't cooked the way I had asked and it took over 30 mins to get the order. sent it back and just left it wasn't worth the wait. terrible food.
This is my 2nd Red Robin restaurant I have visited. I love this restaurant chain! I am so happy that this company is attentive to the needs of food allergies. The serving team is attentive, considerate, and concerned. The burgers are great and the selection of items available for gf are plenty! Plus the bottomless fries! How can you go wrong?!
The computer generated list of acceptable foods is non-sensual. Ok to have the bruschetta chicken sandwich, but don't have the bruschetta or the bread. The do offer gluten free rolls, but don't mention it on the printout. No prices on the printout and they don't give a regular menu unless you ask for it. Manager and staff were not knowledgeable about the menu, just kept referring me to the confusing computer generated list. Finally had a plain chicken breast with lettuce and tomato. Came with no condiments, had to wait for the waitress to come back to ask for them. On the plus side... They do have a dedicated fryer. I've eaten at other Red Robins that were great ... But this one is off the list for me.
This was by far the best burger! The now have gluten free buns. Having a burger with a bun was dreamy!!! They are so accommodating!!!
Not a great choice of foods.
Food was cold, GF bun on my burger was dry, no offer of more fries. After the great burger and fries I had in Grand Rapids, MI, this was a big disappointment. I had talked up my great experience to friends who dined with us and their food came under cooked and cold.
Red Robin restaurants are very good about cross contamination. They have separate fryers for the fries and gluten free buns. I have celiac disease and I'm very sensitive, I've never gotten sick eating here, in fact the manager always comes out and talks to me about my order so that is reassuring. I love Red Robin!
When I asked for a GF menu, I was told to look at it on my phone or they would bring me a tablet. When I got the tablet, I was completely frustrated as it didn't show what the dish was made up of, pictures or even prices. I had to flip back & forth with the regular menu. Finally I was so exasperated I asked the waitress to suggest something since I am highly allergic. She said she couldn't, it was against the law!?! At that point, I just ordered the Ensenada chicken platter and asked if the chef could clean the grill first. She assured me it wasn't necessary because they didn't put any bread on it. I should have pushed the issue because I can almost guarantee my chicken was grilled near remnants of something with teriyaki sauce because I am now sick. Never again with Red Robin.
Our server Elizabeth said she was gluten free and made sure my meal was safe. Then the manager Stacy stopped by and explained that they take allergies very seriously and explained how all the fries are cooked in a special vat at the end of the counter and they are safe. Told me the seasoned salt is now gluten free as wel but l order the fries without the salt. Had a nice discussion with both ladies. They are the best!
Best bun I've found in a restaurant. I travel here all the time. Severs always know what they are talking about and are super attentive. And super cheap!!!
I've come here a few times I don't think I have had any problems. But the last time I went they gave me a burger that had a regular buns lucky I knew what the bun was supposed to look like And was able to send it back .That's the only reason i gave them three stars because i think it's super important when somebody says gluten free that it is
Ordered from gluten free menu that designated how the dish needed altered to make it GF. The server was very attentive and the manager served my meal. There was a gluten filled topping on my sandwich and with much apology they remade my meal for me. The manager also kindly covered the cost of my meal. It was a very good restaurant experience!
Eat here often with celiac kids. Staff well educated. Chef and manager will often come to table with food to ensure no cross contamination.
Been there five times . My daughter with celiac has had no reactions. Very careful about cross contamination. Highly recommend it
Given them a few chances, and I'm pretty easygoing, but each time they seem to be getting worse. The server could not present a gluten free menu and did not seem to understand what gluten free options they had. Once I received the order, I knew immediately that the buns were not gluten free and another server took the order away. The second time they brought the food there were battered jalapeños in the burger, which were not gluten free.. needless to say I won't be back. Very risky place.
I absolutely love the Red Robin in Holland. They were so helpful with finding me gluten free foods and my server ( Lexi ) was amazing. She was so patient and was very knowledgable on gluten allergies. Not to mention they had so many options!! Highly recommend it!!
Great buns, dedicated fryer for fries, good service, simple menu on iPad. Just what we were looking for! Should have 1 GF beer available.
Horrible! If you want to eat here you better do your research before you get to the restaurant because they won't help you. Our server refused to double check with the kitchen if a burger could be made gluten free. Which is sad since the gluten free buns are a nice option. The server never offered one of their iPads to look up the menu. She just kept telling us she didn't want to be liable. The manager on duty was nice and tried to rectify the situation. But by then the experience was ruined and we won't likely be back.
Ate here a few times in the past few weeks and have been feeling sick without knowing where I was glutened...stopped by today on our way home, I let my server know that I have Celiac and anything with even a small amount of gluten will make me sick and she reassured me that the sweet potato fries that I ordered would be fried in their dedicated fryer (as the servers had every time I notified them of my problem)... I received my fries and ate about 1/3 of the basket before I found pieces of onion straws mixed in with the fries...when my husband asked the manager about the onion straws he told us that they only fried the steak fries in the dedicated fryer (even though the sweet potato fries are gluten-free and could have been fried in the dedicated fryer). The staff had no idea what gluten-free actually meant and why it was so important that my food be made right...but at least now I know what glutened me.
Both the waiter and the manager repeatedly told me the Boca burger was gluten free and insisted until I googled it and showed them that it's made of soy and wheat gluten!! When I asked for a version of the adult grilled cheese, just on a bun, it confused them like crazy, and then they brought me 2 pieces of American cheese melted on a completely dry bun. Not safe, not tasty. Couldn't pay me to come back again.
I have celiac and I asked them if an item was gluten free...they said yes, but there was no dedicated fryer. They told us they put the chicken on tin foil to prevent contamination, but it made me sick anyway.
Red Robin is NOT GLUTEN-FREE!!!!!! I actually had to sit there and watch my family eat because the chef refused to make me the nachos (because I don't eat meat) I made it "difficult " for him!!!! I MADE IT DIFFICULT!!!!!! I will NEVER step ONE FOOT in there again!!!!
I've only been once and definitely don't think I'll go back! Explained that I could not have gluten and was assured gf was easy... the buns are gf and any burger could be modified. I was brought a regular bun though! Thank goodness I was paying attention and didn't just eat it. They took the burger off the check, and offered free dessert... of which there were no gf options! Lol. I appreciate they made an effort to apologize but my health was put in jeopardy. Eat at your own risk!!
Red Robin never disappoints. Great service, waiter Tony was very attentive and handled my allergy like a pro. They cooked everything separately and I felt fine afterward (I have celiac.) Only complaint was my burger wasn't very hot when I got it and the bottom bun was a little dry but all in all, great burger and fries!
My daughter always gets a burger on a gluten free bun and fries with seasoning and has not gotten sick. The Rogers location has the best manager I have ever spoken to. He was very patient and answered all our questions and none of the servers have ever been impatient with us.
They know what gluten free means and have lots of options. Waitress was knowledgable and helpful. Food was delicious too.
Visiting from out of state. The waitress was wonderful, gf food brought out separate from non gluten free food. She double checked the fries when she brought refills that they were gf. My daughter and I are both very sensitive celiacs, and did not get sick. We went later on a Sunday night, was not busy.
I eat there often and never had a gluten reaction. They have a dedicated fryer. The staff are very friendly.
We read the reviews and we're excited that our 9 year old with celiac could get fries and a burger. She did feel slightly sick after, which could have been for several reasons. We would go here again to at least give it another chance.
