Told the waitress I was celiac and REQUIRED gluten free food. Since the kitchen either forgot and pushed aside our order we finally got our order roughly 40 minutes later. I guess on the high side the meal was comped by an apologetic manager but I do not like being treated as a 2nd class citizen because I have celiac and the staff does not care or has disdain for GF preparation. I recommend steering clear of this place for a while.

Well, thighs have changed and their bottomless fries are NO LONGER GF. Corp has changed the recipe some new coating. Avoid now. Check the Allergen Menu as some of the burgers are no longer listed.

Diners beware! The last 2 visits at this Red Robin have been riddled with issues. The first visit I explained to the sever that I am allergic to wheat (anaphalatic), placed my order for gluten free bun and gluten free sweet potato fries. Took one bite and knew I was going to be In trouble. The fries were placed in the same frier as onion rings. The manager tried to assure me that would never happen. I had her smell the fries...she believed me then.

We decided to try the restaurant one more visit. This time the the kitchen manager and manager couldn't decide if the fries were wheat free or gluten free based on the corporate website. I opted to skip the fries all together and just eat the burger. My husband ordered regular fries and they reeked of fried onion rings! He has no allergies, so not a big deal for him other than the fries tasted horrible. But placing fries in onion ring fry vats is a normal practice for this location.

In my opinion, the staff both kitchen and wait need to be better educated on how important it is to serve gluten free food. If that can't be done just don't claim to do so...it's ok. Much better than making a customer extremely ill.

The gluten free menu is limited. You get a binder for food allergies. So you'd think the waitress would ask which allergy and make sure your food isn't contaminated. NOPE. I told her I have a gluten allergy but she didn't write it down.

I got a house salad (thank god I brought my own dressing - not a very big selection) without croutons and sweet potato fries.

I have been sick ever since. I guess not frying the fries in contaminated oil is too much to ask for.

-If you go there and you are a vegetarian like me just go with a salad without croutons and fruit.

Absolutely amazing! I have been coming quite often. I just let my waitress know about my gluten allergy, and I have never had any problems. I usually get french fries (they have a separate gluten free fryer) and a chicken Caesar salad. Thank you Red Robin staff :)

My family used to go to Red Robin. Pretty good about my very severe allergies to wheat, barley, cashew, and pistachio. I always got the plain chicken breast which is pretty good.

Our experience was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions with confidence. He was fantastic as a server! We order the kids grilled chicken with French fries and ranch, which the server said was GF without even me asking. We will be back.
