The waiter we had was great understood the food allergy and made me feel comfortable about eating there. All my food came out on yellow dishes and they got me ranch from the back to make sure it wasn't contaminated. A++

Guac Cheeseburger on gluten free bun with gluten free fries (separate fryer)… amazing!! I will say I was super nervous because the waiters don’t write down the orders. But luckily it all came out like I ordered!

My visit started out nice. I checked out the GF menu briefly online before entering. Told my server about my allergy. She explained GF items were prepared separately and served on yellow plates. The only safe app is the spinach & artichoke dip with chips (fried in separate fryer) so I got that. That was decent. I was asking my waitress about the new “Southern Charm” burger. She said it was safe. Had bacon, some special bbq sauce (that I didn’t realize wasn’t their regular sauce until afterwards), cheese, onions on it. I was looking at the normal burgers and the sauces and everything online prior and saw everything checked out. So I ordered that burger. Received it and took 2 bites out of it and I swear I could taste something was off about it. Not sure what made me double check but I went back online and checked the burger and that specific sauce actually was NOT on the gluten & wheat allergy menu, like the normal other bbq sauce is. Told my server and she brought the manager over who said they don’t know what’s in the ingredients of the sauces because they get them in bottles from the manufacturer. At this point I was already feeling sick but the manager Brittany was nice enough to comp our check. Now, I understand this is mostly my fault for not paying close enough attention to the different sauces, but I’m writing this for others in case it helps someone. I also wish the manager and servers were somewhat more knowledgeable about what they’re giving to customers especially with allergies. My boyfriend loved his burger though lol. Oh, and the buns are pretty decent and don’t crumble immediately like most others do.

Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
Great service by May. No worries with my soy & gluten allergies. Dedicated fryer. Lots of choices.

Had simply grilled chicken burger with just the cheddar cheese on a GF bun with GF fries. Waitress advised me that the fries were in fact gluten free. Very good!

I eat here all the time and the staff is great about celiac. They even remember me! I get “allergy fries” in a separate fryer. I love that they have a new veggie burger that is GF!! Usually veggie burger patties are made mostly with gluten so it’s nice to be able to get a GF one! I almost always stick to the same meal. I prefer a lettuce wrap to a GF bun. I’ve tried their GF bun and it’s just OK. I use the iPad to look up items (even sides and sauces are listed) you can actually check out their allergy menu online ahead of time too. It’s one of the best.

Separate fryer! This location has special plates to indicate GF (many locations do this but it is not chain wide). Seasoning is unclear. Some say it’s gf, some not. Supposedly it used to not be and was changed to be. I’m really sensitive and i tried it and didn’t get sick, but try it at your own discretion

I read some of the other reviews and not like my experience at all! They have awesome gluten free buns for their burgers (that in my opinion are the best gf rolls I've ever had) and a dedicated fryer for fries!! They give you an iPad and it tells you everything that can be made gf
Great options for GF!! Separate Fre
Terrible. Not Gluten Free Friendly at all. It was a major hassle, I waited too long, was overcharged, and received poor substitutes for menu items!

They told me to look up the gluten free menu on my phone because they no longer had a paper menu. The bun wasn't great and crumbled apart. The chicken in the sandwich was cold and bland. I had previously had a great experience at the Red Robin in Danbury, but not here. It was a busy night, but I still will not go back.
Hamburger buns are great and they even offer gf fries done separately

Gluten free buns and other options. Great for a chain!
Absolutely amazing! I have been coming quite often. I just let my waitress know about my gluten allergy, and I have never had any problems. I usually get french fries (they have a separate gluten free fryer) and a chicken Caesar salad. Thank you Red Robin staff :)

Always a trusted option when looking to eat out
My family used to go to Red Robin. Pretty good about my very severe allergies to wheat, barley, cashew, and pistachio. I always got the plain chicken breast which is pretty good.

Our experience was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions with confidence. He was fantastic as a server! We order the kids grilled chicken with French fries and ranch, which the server said was GF without even me asking. We will be back.
