Had lunch here. I ordered the basic cheeseburger on a GF bun with broccoli instead of fries, since the waiter seemed unsure if the fryer was shared or not. When the food came out, there was no purple toothpick in it signifying allergen protocols, even though I had told the waiter I have a gluten allergy and need GF food. I asked the server if the food was GF and she said yes. I also got the chicken ensenada to go, again requesting GF. After eating the chicken meal for dinner at home, I had symptoms of being glutened, which lasted for 9 days.
I left a comment on the Red Robin website detailing my experience, just so management could be aware since it is the company’s policy for personnel to be trained in allergen protocols. I did not request a response, but the manager of the establishment did get in touch with me, apologized, and stated they would retrain the employees.
This was over two months ago. I may try another Red Robin, but I don’t think I will give this particular one a chance again. The flavor of the food was okay, but not good enough to risk my health a second time.

A website of food allergy menu items is offered to help you find foods to meet your specific dietary needs. You check off your allergies and it gives you options offered. I ordered the Impossible burger which is grilled on aluminum foil to prevent cross contamination with gluten or meat. They offer a gluten free bun that is delicious. The servers advised French fries are fried in a separate fryer but the seasoning salt has gluten. The fries can be ordered without the seasoning to make them gluten free. I have eaten at this location twice in the last month and have not gotten sick.

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE burger restaurant! They offer a gluten free buns and if you don't want the bun they can wrap your burger in lettuce (lettuce wrap)!
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
Stopped here recently while vacationing in the area. Food was great - they have gluten free buns! The service was good also. Will definitely be back.

This was our first time we went to a red robins, we loved it. Our waitress Candice was perfect also, they all made sure my food was prepared carefully. Never had to ask for anything..... Everything we needed was right there! Perfect from the moment we walked in the doors!!!!!!
server was super helpful. Even though the g-free menu said the fries were considered g-free, just to worry about the fryer, he said the seasoning wasn't g-free and to always ask for the fries without seasoning. I wouldnt have done this had he not warned me based on what the menu said.
Absolutely amazing! I have been coming quite often. I just let my waitress know about my gluten allergy, and I have never had any problems. I usually get french fries (they have a separate gluten free fryer) and a chicken Caesar salad. Thank you Red Robin staff :)

Always a trusted option when looking to eat out
My family used to go to Red Robin. Pretty good about my very severe allergies to wheat, barley, cashew, and pistachio. I always got the plain chicken breast which is pretty good.

Our experience was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions with confidence. He was fantastic as a server! We order the kids grilled chicken with French fries and ranch, which the server said was GF without even me asking. We will be back.

The staff was very good about the cross contamination and even brought my food out separate.
