Red Robin

Proceed with caution!

I was excited to stop at Red Robin in McAllen, because last September (2015) they had a list of everything gluten free in a binder. When I ate there at that time, it was delicious and I did not get glutened.

Today (March 1, 2016) was a different story. When I asked for the gluten free menu at the desk, I was told they didn't have one, then the server said there were several vegan options!!! She brought over the manager and again I asked for their menu - he advised me they no longer have it and he suggested I look it up online and say what I want. That is what I did. Now I am sick as sick can be, and the only thing I ate today was Red Robin.

I suspect it was the fries, which had seasoning. It has been so long I don't recall if they did before.

Waiter wasn't too interested in helping with our order. Had to look up the gluten free menu. Had a burger in gluten free bread. It was good.

Absolutely amazing! I have been coming quite often. I just let my waitress know about my gluten allergy, and I have never had any problems. I usually get french fries (they have a separate gluten free fryer) and a chicken Caesar salad. Thank you Red Robin staff :)

Always a trusted option when looking to eat out

My family used to go to Red Robin. Pretty good about my very severe allergies to wheat, barley, cashew, and pistachio. I always got the plain chicken breast which is pretty good.

Our experience was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions with confidence. He was fantastic as a server! We order the kids grilled chicken with French fries and ranch, which the server said was GF without even me asking. We will be back.
