The dedicated fryer and fries were great. Had a good chicken sandwich. Wait staff was knowledgeable. Good experience

They have a tablet where you can check whatever food restrictions you have, which is nice. GF options are sort-of there, but you have to click through everything because it’s really more of a menu where it crosses out what from the menu item you can’t have. So for example, the pizza option was basically sauce and toppings after it crossed out the crust, etc. The menu doesn’t list fries as GF under “sides,” so I was hesitant. All burger/chicken items (which you can get made with lettuce or a GF bun) say there’s a possibility for cross contamination. But the server said they toast the buns in a toaster vs on the grill, so there shouldn’t be cross contamination from that. Not sure what else they put on the grill though. She also said they have a dedicated fryer for fries.

I was not sure about coming here but my family insisted. I was very specific with the waiter about my allergy and how hyper sensitive I am. When the food came out my plate was under the onion rings, not beside them but under them. So I asked for my dinner to be remade and the waiter was not happy with me, but I look at it like this-I told him about my allergy and so why would he bring it out on the same platter as everyone else’s. I am not sure if my food was remade or if they brought me the same plate back out. The waiter was super kind..but not super knowledgeable about procedures. They have a dedicated fryer but it is next to the regular fryer and so cross contamination is very likely. I will update this review on whether or not I was contaminated.

Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
Gluten free buns are awesome and ask for the fries to be gluten free so they make sure they are not in a shared fryer!! I’ve never been disappointed here

I love red robin, but theyre not always the safest if you have celiacs. I am super sensitive to cross contamination and every few times i come i get sick from eating here. So Id say youre probably ok to go here, but there is a chance youll get glutened.
Best gluten free bun I have had!! Delicious sweet potato fries! I was very pleased!
Please be warned! When we are here 2 weeks ago, the gf fries had macaroni in them, and my daughter's plate had food on it from three other plates in our group. The waitress had no clue about Celiac and neither did anyone else. There were no extra precautions taken for us.

Visiting from out of state. The waitress was wonderful, gf food brought out separate from non gluten free food. She double checked the fries when she brought refills that they were gf. My daughter and I are both very sensitive celiacs, and did not get sick. We went later on a Sunday night, was not busy.
I get so sick every time I eat there
Me gusta. They use Udi's buns which is ok I suppose. But I have had zero problems with service or contamination. The servers always seem to be knowledgable about gluten.
very poor service and not very nice

This is my husband's favorite place to eat out, so we visit often. They do a pretty good job with their burgers. The bun is nice when eating a burger, but it is made with gluten free flour, so don't expect amazing ;) They recently told me they can make their fries and sweet potato fries gluten free too. Yay!
Yes
I used to LOVE to eat here but the last several times the bun has been hard and they changed their menu so it doesn't have my favorite sand which anymore. I don't think I'll keep coming back.
The GF menu has many choices and the gluten free burger was so good. The bun was perfect. The workers were also very knowledgeable and helpful. I will for sure be back.
My first time at a Red Robin and I loved it! Had a burger and fries (gluten free) and they came with a little purple stick in it to indicate gluten allergy. Waitress was wonderful! (They also have pretty good ranch)

Notified server GF, ALLERGY. Ordered a burger GF bun. Fine until I quickly remembered that it had steak sauce on it ISN’T GF.
After asking this server about it, he didn’t know so he wouldn’t ask the chef and he didn’t know so he sent the bottle out to me. It clearly states that it has barley vinegar in the ingredients. Seriously disappointing that the kitchen staff is preparing “gluten-free food” and they have no idea what has or doesn’t have gluten in it.
Nice way to ruin the end of my trip. And will be sick for the next couple of weeks.

This Red Robin use to be my go to place. But the last two times I have been glutenized and got sick. I longer recommend this restaurant.

Always a reliable choice. Red Robin's online allergen menu is extremely helpful and in-depth, symptomatic celiac been coming here for many years and never had a problem. It's not fine dining or anything but it's about as good as it gets for a huge chain restaurant like this.
