Just moved to the area, and am used to dining at RR because of the dedicated fryer. Never had a problem until I ate at this location. You have to actually ask for your fries to be gf, because they don't always use the dedicated fryer (why they wouldn't when that is their claim to fame, no clue) I might travel farther to make sure my meal is gf from now on.
No
For a place that prides themselves on having safe GF options, including a dedicated fryer, my meal was not gluten free. I have Celiac Disease and recently got a Nima sensor to help keep me safe. I've been eating at Red Robin probably 1-2 times per month since I was diagnosed, since it was one of the only places that seemed to be guaranteed "safe." I don't have immediate symptoms from ingesting gluten, so it can be hard to tell when I've been exposed. But after being "gluten-free" for over 3 months straight, I still haven't felt any better and my quality of life has not improved. So I decided to test my food tonight, unfortunately after eating most of it, just to be sure. And what do you know? My food had gluten. So thank you, Red Robin, for acting like you are a safe place for me, but in reality, you've been poisoning me and damaging my health.
No
When I went here, the wait staff had no idea what was gluten free. I had to ask about each individual component about the different menu items and never got confident answers.
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
Excellent. Have dined here several times. Very knowledgeable. I’m very sensitive and still have never been contaminated here. Usually get the turkey burger on GF bun, fries from dedicated frier.
Yes
I love everything about red robin, the food, the staff, the atmosphere. And most of all, they are a great place for celiac. They have a dedicated fryer upon request for the fries. They have options for a GF bun or lettuce wrap. And many sides are also gf including ranch. The online menu makes things easy to figure out. I do not get symptoms from gluten but have been diagnosed celiac. So I cannot tell when I have been glutened (a mixed blessing). But I have seen other reviews that report no symptoms.
Yes
staff is good... the buns are kind of dry.
Absolutely amazing! I have been coming quite often. I just let my waitress know about my gluten allergy, and I have never had any problems. I usually get french fries (they have a separate gluten free fryer) and a chicken Caesar salad. Thank you Red Robin staff :)

Always a trusted option when looking to eat out
My family used to go to Red Robin. Pretty good about my very severe allergies to wheat, barley, cashew, and pistachio. I always got the plain chicken breast which is pretty good.

Our experience was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions with confidence. He was fantastic as a server! We order the kids grilled chicken with French fries and ranch, which the server said was GF without even me asking. We will be back.

The staff was very good about the cross contamination and even brought my food out separate.
