Lunch at Red’s Eats was a great experience! I had my first lobster roll there a few years ago, prior to my celiac diagnosis, and loved it. Unfortunately, I never dreamed that I would be able to eat there again. Much to my surprise, during my most recent visit, I read on their menu that they offer GF options. I’m very picky about eating at restaurants because I have gotten sick more times than not, but decided to give it a try. Debbie Gagnon, the owner of Red’s, took my order. She assured me that all employees would be required to change gloves, she questioned me about my sensitivity level, required all employees to change gloves, opened a brand-new crate of lobster and wrote “celiac” on my ticket without me asking her to. She was so kind throughout my interaction with her! The lobster roll is offered on three choices of locally made homemade GF toasted bread. Needless to say, I did not get sick, my lunch was delicious and I returned later in the week for another lobster roll. Debbie wasn’t there when I returned, but my experience was just as wonderful. Thank you Red’s Eats for a fantastic lunch and for making me feel completely comfortable eating one of my favorite foods!
