We was visiting Barcelona with friends and there was 6 of us in total and we went to Mussol as it says it can cater for coeliacs (Gluten Free). They did have a separate gluten free menu but only in Spanish , that’s not a huge problem with help from google translate and my basic Spanish. I ordered the starter portion of gf pasta with a napoleon sauce and their Spanish tomato bread , described as toasted bread with olive oil, garlic and chopped tomato and some chips (separate fryer confirmed). Firstly they didn’t have any gluten free pasta, so I said I’d just have the bread and chips as I didn’t want a large main meal (other options were bbq chicken or steak). They delivered to me on a platter with silver lid, a packet of crisps! , perhaps that was lost in translation and eventually I got a plate of chips, next I received a plate with a whole tomato and a gf bread roll in its bag (in photo I have removed the bread from the packet) , this would have been hilarious if it was meant to be funny. when asked why it was like that, they said they can’t touch gf items, ok I accept they don’t touch the bread, they could have at least sliced the tomato and given me a pot of olive oil etc , made some effort with it. My friends had a variety of different meals including the BBQ chicken which was very dry and the steak which wasn’t great. The service was slow and non attentive, and didn’t care about the customers, our waiter was on his phone texting most of the time. They just rely on tourists who just go for one night and not return. I wouldn’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend. Try other restaurants on top of the Bull Ring but wouldn’t bother with this one.
